It was the start of their 7th year , and Hermione was sat in her cabin with Ron and Harry...
"Harry do you think the cart will come along soon?" Asked Ron, hoping for some more food,
"wanting more food already Ron" said Hermione parshly annoyed , not long after Hermione's reply an owl came threw the doors with a letter for Harry and Hermione....
Dear Mr potter and miss granger, I am proud to announce that you two are the top gryffindors of Hogwarts, so I would like you to come straight to my office once you arrive at Hogwarts to discuss you awards, Sincerely,Dumbledore
Both in shock they hug eachother with excitement in their eyes. Ron starts to become confused to why they are hugging so he decides to ask her
"Hermione, what's going on between you, what was in that letter?" Hermione stopped hugging Harry and explained what just happened but Ron was jealous of their achievements so he started to shout at her...
"WHAT THE HELL HERMIONE,I THOUGHT WE WERE FRIENDS BUT I GUESS YOUR JUST A FILTHY LITTLE MUDBLOOD ..."with tears down her face Ron realised what had said but didn't apologize to Hermione...just as Harry was about to shout at Ron Hermione stormed out of the cabin with all her things and headed to an empty cabin.
Just as she was about to enter the empty cabin she saw Draco with some hufflepuff, Hermione thought it was weird as she took a closer look she saw blood on the girls neck and on Draco's mouth.
After five seconds of staring Draco noticed Hermione stood there and quickly blocked her exit...
"Ma..Mal..Malfoy w..wh...what are you doing...what are you?"she asked slightly terrified. Draco stood there for a moment before he then decided he had to explain,
"Hermione let me explain...i...I have a good reason for this...just let me explain" Draco said calmly. Hermione was about to sit down to let him speak but she was to afraid to move...
"fine Malfoy you have 2 minutes to explain yourself then I'll decide if I should trust you"she said with courage in her voice.
"Oh thank you for this Hermione... So do you remember the end of the war when I helped your friends to win...well I got a punishment that I'll never loose...I don't know how to say this but I...I..I'm..a...vampire"Draco said afraid of what Hermione was going to think of him afterwards...suddenly Hermione ran up to Draco hugging him tight, "I'm so sorry Draco this is all my fault I should have known there would be consequences to this" she replied feeling terrible about what she had said. Draco pulled away from her grasp and fell to the ground and started to cry..."...w..wh...why....d..did....yo....you..do that hermione?" He said confused by what Hermione had done.After sitting together for 10minutes Hermione got up to go back to Ron and Harry but Draco grabbed Hermione's hand and said "don't go don't leave me alone...please" Hermione crouched down next to him and kissed him on the cheek then left to get changed...
At the Great hall... Hermione sat in silence eat her food while Ron and Harry were stuffing their faces..."when will you stop eating"Hermione says angrily while hitting them with her books. Hermione stops hitting them and saw Draco staring at her and blushing "attention all students ...*cough*I will announce your head boy and girl in just a moment... Give a round of clause to.... Hermione Granger and.... Draco malfoy" everyone cheered as they both got up and went to the front to be greeted by the prefects from each house...
After the feast.... "May I have Mr Malfoy and miss granger in my office in five minutes thank you" Dumbledore said loud and clear for us to hear...
In Dumbledores office:
Hermione was sat in a chair waiting for Draco to arrive..."Dumbledore left a note for us.."said Hermione.
Dear miss granger and Mr malfoy, sadly I could not make it to my office but I would like to congratulate you both and let you know that you have a new dorm room on the 5th floor you will both be sharing a common room all your belongings are in your rooms ready for you, your password is chocolate frogs you may change it as long as you both agree... Good luck Dumbledore
Once they read the note they left to go to their dorms on the 5th floor.
"Hey 'mione can you keep what I told you a secret as I have only told you and blaise..."Draco asked Hermione.in Hermione's thoughts...
*did he just call me 'mione? It sounds good* "sure I'll keep your secret" Hermione leaves to her room for the night.

Before they went to sleep they went in each others rooms...Hermione fell asleep in Draco's room while she was testing how comfy the bed was so Draco snuck up behind her and went to sleep also...
