HOUSEMATE. (Aria and Justin's Story)

Chapter 5

Saturday. Maagang nagising si Aria. Gumawa siya ng batter para sa pancake.She was stirring the batter when all of the sudden, she felt somebody kissed her in her right ear. Nagulat ito at lumingon. Justin was standing there, grinning at her.

"Good morning,"he greeted her smiling.

"What the heck?" reklamo nito." You scared me!"

"Masyadong kang serious eh sa kaka-concentrate mo diyan,"sabi ni Justin."What are you making anyway?" looking at the batter.

" Im going to make some pancakes,"sagot ni Aria. Justin dipped his finger in the batter and lick it.

"Hey,"saway ni Aria," you're not supposed to do that. It's going to make you sick."

Nakangiting lang si Justin, dipped his finger again and said," Im not supposed to this too but I will," and smeared the batter on Aria's cheeks.

She screech and took some batter then smeared it on Justin's face too. He started laughing." This means war,"sabi pa and dipped his hand some more. Pero binitawan na ni Aria and bowl and ran out of the kitchen. Hinabol siya ni Justin with some batter in his hand. Tumakbo si Aria sa living dining room and was behind the table.

" You are wasting the batter,"sabi ni Aria pero ayaw lumapit sa kay Justin.

He was laughing."I will catch you and you will be sorry,"sabi nito and ran after her. Kahit naman mabilis si Aria na tumakbo, mas mabilis pa rin si Justin. He got her by the waist on her way to the living and smeared some more on her face. She was yelling at pumiglas but Justin was holding her tight on the waist until they both lost their balance and ended up on the floor with Aria on top of Justin. He was still holding her on the waist and laughing habang pinaghahambalos ito ni Aria.

" What is wrong with you? Now, we can't make pancakes,"reklamo ni Aria not even realizing that she was still on top of Justin and he is still holding her on her waist.

" But it is so hard to resist not teasing you,"he said laughing.

Aria took his arm off her waist. She got off Justin and sat beside him on the floor. Umupo na rin si Justin sa harap niya." Why don't I take you out for breakfast?" he asked her.

Tinitigan siya ni Aria." By the time I change, baka lunch na,"sagot nito.

"Then we will have brunch,"nakangiting sabi ni Justin." Let me make it up to you.Come on......." pilit nito.

Aria looked at him and could not help it and started laughing dahil puno din ng pancake batter ang mukha nito. Justin started laughing with her. He stood up and help her up. She went to her room to take a shower and change.

Justin took her to Spiral Buffet for their brunch. Nag- order sila agad ng food.

"Were you able to find an office space?"tanong ni Aria.

"Yes, we found one. We ordered desk and stuff for the office so we can get started. Nag create na kami ng corporation and we will submit the business license soon,"sabi ni Justin.

"Good. I'm glad. And your back on the dating game too? You been coming home late, I notice,"sabi ni Aria.

He smiled."Selos ka?" he teased her.

She blushed." What? No?........you're teasing me again!' inis na sabi ni Aria.

He started laughing." I didn't go out on any dates. We were in the new office trying to put everything in place and brainstorm but we can unwind tonight and go out, you and me."

"Why don't you go out by yourself para maka-meet ka ng future girlfriend mo? Or do you want me to set you up with somebody?" offer ni Aria.

He looked at her intently."Don't you want to go out with me? Is it too dreadful to go out with me?" he asked. Aria wasn't sure if there was a hint of hurt in his voice pero seryoso itong nagtanong sa kanya.

She felt guilty."No, no, i didn't mean na ayaw ko. I was just thinking that you may prefer to go out with somebody,' sabi ni Aria.

"If I wanted to go out with somebody, I would have not ask you,"he answered.

"I'm sorry Love," bawi na lang nito dahil para ngang nagtatampo."Of course, I'll go out with you. Bakit naman hindi? Let's paint the town red."

He looked at her then smiled."Cool!"

They went clubbing that night. Maraming nagpapapansin kay Justin puna ni Aria. Noong nasa dance floor sila ay doon niya nalaman na magaling din itong sumayaw. May mga iba pang mga babae na kunyari ay nababanga siya para lang makalapit sa kanya kahit na kasayaw ito ni Aria. She smiled. Grabe ang karisma nito. Oblivious naman si Justin. Aria had so much fun at napadami ang inom nito.

Madaling araw na sila umuwi. Hihirit pa sana siya ng isa pang drink pero hindi na ito pinayagan ni Justin. He is the designated driver kaya hindi ito masyadong uminom. Nalasing na si Aria. Nakaalalay na si Justin sa kanya dahil very unsteady na ito kung lumakad. Paglabas nila ng elevator papunta sa condo nila ay kinuha muna ni Justin ang susi sa bulsa nito bago binuhat na lang si Aria para mas mabilis silang makarating sa condo.Aria place both her arms around his neck. But her eyes were close now.Kahit medyo nahirapan  ito sa pagbukas ng pinto habang buhat buhat si Aria ay nagawa pa run nito. Diretso niyang pinasok si Aria sa kwarto nito at nilapag sa bed. Tinanggal ni Justin ang sapatos at kinumutan na si Aria. He looked at her and smiled before he left her room and close the door.
