HOUSEMATE. (Aria and Justin's Story)

Chapter 22

      Aria was still sitting in the beach  by herself, looking at the waves. Hmmmm..... this is at least calming. It helps with my nerves. It is so quiet here, she thought. She needed to clear her mind.

"Can I join you?" she heard.

     She turned and saw Justin walking towards her. Aria didn't want him here. She wants to be alone so she didn't answer. Justin sat beside here. She was looking straight ahead.

    "Love......"

      Aria turned and looked at him. Justin was looking back at her. She has never heard him call  her that since he got back.

     "Love, what did you see when you had a video chat with Tita Amanda?"he asked.

She was shocked by the question. How did he know about the video? She looked away. Tears are starting to form in her eyes and she didn't want him to see it. Why in the world is he asking me this? And how did he find out about the video? She couldnt get herself to say anything. What would it matter anyway?

Justin moved and sat in front of her. He lifted her chin with his finger and saw the tears forming in her eyes."What did you see? Can you please tell me?"

    "Why? It doesn't matter,"she said trying not to cry.

      "Please........" he begged.

       She swallowed."Tita Zeny's party,"she answered.

     "Did you see me? Did you see me with Emily?"tanong niya.

    The images flashed in her mind. Justin kissing her. It was just too much for Aria to think about it now. The tears that she was holding back started flowing. Justin moved to her side and hugged her. He held her tight. She was weeping. There was no sound but Justin felt every tear that dropped from her eyes.

When she stopped, he wiped her cheeks with his palm."Can you please tell me what you saw?"

"Why Justin?" she asked confused." You know what, fine. I saw you at the party. You were sitting on the corner and you were kissing with your ex-girlfriend. Mom said that you guys are back together. Happy?"

    "Why are you crying?"he asked. She pushed him away and tried to get up but Justin held her again.

    "What do you want from me?" she asked in a tortured voice and stood up.

    "Will you let me explain please,"sabi ni Justin holding her hand to stop her. Aria sat back beside him.

   "I know I love you when I left you to go back home. But when I was there, and Emily found out that I was home.  She called me. I was conflicted. I know how I feel about you but I was afraid that you may just be a rebound love because I was heart broken when I came here in the Philippines. I admit, we went out again, me and Emily. It felt right but something is missing. You would always popped in my head. When we got out places, my mind would wonder, what if ikaw ang kasama, what would you say, what would you do. I am with her but it seems like I am not because it's you I think about."

    Aria was not saying anything, just listening to him. He made her look at him and took her hand."Yes we kissed. ...........It felt okay. That was it, okay. It was nothing compared to when I kissed you. With you, I can't seem to get enough of you. Like I am always yearning for you. That's when I know, I really, really love you. I know I am a jerk for doing it but I wanted to make sure. I wanted to know for myself that it is really you that I want,"sabi ni Justin.

    She still didn't say anything." I couldn't wait to finish my work so I could come home. I was so excited, then found out that you have been going out on a date while I was gone. I wanted to explode. I was blinded with jealousy. You are mine! Just thinking of somebody holding you, making you smile, making you blush, kissing you, was enough to drive me insane. I had to move out because I could not take it knowing you are coming home from a date. I want to choke every guy you went out with,"he said in a strangle voice." I love you Aria. I love you so much I am so miserable. Yes, I flirted with that girl in beach. I wanted to see kung magseselos ka so I know, at least that you care. Love, will you take me, my crazy, fuck up me?"

    She was crying and hugged him tight. Justin hugged her back. He was stroking her hair."I am so sorry Love.I am so sorry for hurting you, Baby."He kissed her forehead and hugged her tight again. Then he leaned and kissed her, thoroughly kissed.

    "Love......" he said after the kiss.

      Aria looked at him." I didn't hear you say it. Do you love me?"sabi ni Justin.

      Aria kissed him hungrily that Justin didn't have a choice but to respond to her kisses. Breathless after the kiss," I love you Justin."

     He smiled." By the way, I told my parents, Tito Ric and Tita Amanda that you are my girlfriend."

     Aria had a shocked expression on her face."You what? When?"

      " The day before I left to go back here,"sagot ni Justin smiling.

     "W-What d-did they say?"tanong ni Aria now getting scared.

"My mom and Tita Amanda said, it's about time. They were so happy about, they asked when are we planning on getting married. I guess that was the plan all along to have you and I hook up," he said smiling.

" What?"Aria could not believe what she is hearing." They asked you when are we getting married?"

He nodded and was laughing.

" What did you say?"tanong ni Aria.

" I told them to give me a chance to propose to you first," he said laughing." They told me to call them as soon as I have so they can make the wedding plans."

Aria was shocked and speechless.

"We thought that we were so smart that we could  avoid their match making scheme. Guess they were smarter than us," he added.

They looked at each other and started laughing.

"We are such suckers,you know,"sabi ni Aria smiling now.

"We suspected that it was a matching making scheme but brush it aside. And I didn't tell them that I move out,"sabi ni Justin shaking his head. "So....... Can I move back in?" he asked." I'm miserable being away from you. I can't sleep at night. I need you."

"I'll think about it," she said but was smiling. He laughed.

"I still have the keys to the condo. Sinadya kong hindi ibalik sa'yo. I can always sneak in. When you say yes, that I can move back in, I am moving in your room and not the other one,"he said smiling.

"What? May demands kaagad!"

"What would be the point of staying in the other room when I would be sleeping with you every night anyway,"sabi nito and winked at her.

"Every night !" she exclaimed.

"Yes, every night,"he said calmly.
