Jensen's Sister, Jared's Love

Chapter 6 - I'm Not Going Anywhere

It's been a month since Jace had passed away, I was currently sitting at my house, Jensen was in Texas with JJ and Danneel because JJ had to go to the hospital, I was looking at the photos hanging up on the wall, and on the stands of me and Jace, there was one photo that caught my eye, it was our first I love yous. We were standing in front of the lake we were always swimming at, he had his arm around me and he was smiling and I was looking up at his surprised because he just said "I love you." After we had been dating for a few months, my eyes were wide and I was smiling widely. I was wearing my swim suit and he had a matching one, his was swim trunks that were teal and had penguins on them, mine was a tankini that was teal and had penguins, I thought back to that day.

It was a little get together, Jace, his sister, his sisters boyfriend, me and the dogs. He had asked his sister to take our picture, I was looking at his sister, smiling widely as she was about to take the picture. 

"I love you." I look up at him, my eyes wide, but a huge smile on my face still, I didn't hear the phone make the click, but the moment was beautiful and I was glad his sister was able to capture it. I remember saying it back to him, he had this smile on his face and all he said was "Good, I'm glad." It was the most beautiful ending to a beautiful day. I heard a sound come from the kitchen, I had totally forgotten Jared had come over, I was so lost in my thoughts I had forgotten Jared left me on the couch to go into the kitchen to get us something to drink and eat, I got off the couch and walked into the kitchen, his back was to me, for a second it reminded me of Jace all over again, him standing there waiting for the food to finish, while I stood there watching him. He turned and he smiled at me. 

"Reminds me of when I was with Gen, she'd just stand watch as I got our food and drinks ready..." His smile disappeared, I could tell talking about Gen pained him, they were in love, it hurts to lose someone you love. 

"Was gonna say the same thing, Jace was always making the food, because between you, me, and Jace, I can't cook that well." I smiled a bit and Jared chuckled. He handed me my cup of coffee and I thanked him while I grabbed myself some sugar and cream. I sat down at the kitchen table. Jared had his back to me, I started to hum a song, I'm not sure what song it was, but it was a song I constantly heard Jace hum whenever he was doing something in the kitchen. Jared glanced at me, but I didn't notice because I was looking down in my mug, he was watching me closely, a smile on his face. I looked up and he looked away. I laughed a bit. 

"What you laughing at?" He asks.

"The fact that I can make Jared Padalecki nervous around me." He looked at me and rolled his eyes, I smirked a bit. 

"Please you don't make me nervous." He finished up with the food and brought it to the table, he had ordered pizza but decided to make fries to go along with it and by the time he finished the fries the pizza got cold so we had to heat that up. He sat down across from me.

"If I don't make you nervous why don't you make eye contact with me?" He looks up and looks back at his food. 

"Because when I look into your eyes, I can see all the pain, and it pains me to see you hurting. Because I care about you a lot. I don't want to see you disappear to the pain that you have in your heart because of losing Jace, and looking at your eyes that's all I see, and I think when you look at me in my eyes, you see Jace sitting here instead of me." Jared looked up from his food, my heart was racing, he was right, sometimes when I look at Jared I see Jace. Jared was my first crush and when he got with Gen, I was crushed and when I fell for Jace, I forgot about Jared, but now having lost Jace, seeing Jared sitting there taking care of me like Jace would that's all I see. 

"You're not wrong." I whisper. I looked down, a tear falls down my cheek. "I saw his eyes staring back at me the other day on set that's why I ran away, I see him in everything you do, the way you look away when I look at you, the way you hold me. Jared you... I loved you, I've been gone for 8 years, you met Gen shortly after I left. But before I left, I loved you but you were always talking about this girl, so I didn't do anything..." He looked at me. 

"The girl I kept talking about was you, I loved you also... I still love you." I got up from the table, he stood up also, I think he thought I was about to leave the room, I walked over to him and I gripped his shirt and pulled him down to my height as I gave him a kiss, he kissed back, his hands went to my waist and he held me close to him, afraid that I'd disappear again once this kiss was over, the kiss got more heated, my hands went to his hair as he picked me up and my legs went around his waist, my back hit a wall as he kissed me with such force, my hands were tugging at his hair and he pulled back to catch his breath resting his forehead against mine. 

"I love you (y/n), don't disappear on me this time." 

"I'm not going anywhere Moose."
