Three years later...

Y/N's P.O.V

Pidge and I have been together for four years now. I wonder if now's the right time to propose. Pidge has been the best girlfriend and ever since we were fifteen I've wanted to marry this girl. She was going to be the death of me. I decided that  tomorrow tonight I was going to propose and if she said no, it would be fine. I walked back home from pilot summer camp at the garrison and unlocked the door. "Auntie Y/N/N!" Olivia called out. I hugged her. "Hey Olive! How are ya doing bud?" I asked her. She gave a thumbs up. "That's good!" I said. "Welcome home, Y/N." Shiro said. "You four, dinner's ready!" Adam yelled from the kitchen. We all sat down at the kitchen table and ate our beef ribs and salad while Olivia ate some dinosaur chicken tendies. "Hey guys, can I ask you guys something?" I said. "Hm?" Keith hummed while eating. "Tommorow, should I propose to Pidge? We've been together for four years now." I asked. Shiro dropped his fork and Adam stopped eating his beef ribs entirely while Keith just stared at me. "Auntie Pidgion?" Olivia said while still eating. "Guys, why do you look so shocked? I was bound to ask this question at some point." I said. "Why would you ask if you should? You don't need our permission to propose to her." Shiro said. "Takashi is right. Why would you?" Adam asked. Keith just nodded in agreement. "I wanted to know if you guys would support me in my choice. By the way I already bought a ring." I said. "Of course we would support you in your choice." Keith said. Adam and Shiro nodded. "Thanks guys." I said. "Speaking of engagement, Lance proposed to me yesterday." Keith said as he showed off his rose gold ring. I squealed in happiness. "So that's why you came home with a red face yesterday!" I said. He blushed like crazy. "Show us the ring you picked out for pidge!" Adam said. I pulled the box out of my purse and showed it to everyone trying not to get food on it.

"That looks like a beautiful ring, Y/N. I'm sure that pidge will say yes." Shiro said. "Pretty!" Olivia said. "Is that for auntie Pigeon?" She asked. I nodded and she gasped. "YAY!" she yelled. I tried to hold on my laughter. "Go for it, Y/N" Keith said. I smiled. I really am going to do this.

The next day

"Hey Pidge, it's been a while since we went on a date. Wanna go out to dinner tonight?" I asked her. "Sure, babe!" she said. "Alright then, see ya at eight!" I said. I walked off blushing so hard that I looked like a tomato. When I got home at 7:30, I ran to get dressed.

I ran to my car to pick up Pidge from her house. When I got there, she looked stunning.

"How do I look?" she asked. "Amazing, as usual." I said. She got into the car and we drove to the fancy resturant. The bill was five hundred dollars, but anything to make her happy. Then we went to the park. Once we got to the famous flower garden in the park, I knelt down. "We've been dating for four years so I want to ask you this, Katie Holt, will you be my pigeon forever and marry this dumbass?" I asked. Pidge was crying. "Yes! Of course I will!" She said through her tears. I put the ring on her finger and stood up. "Kiss me ya nerd." I said. We made out for a long thirty seconds. I pulled away. "Want me to take you home?" I asked her. She nodded and we walked back to my car. When I dropped her off I kissed her on the forehead goodbye and left. When I got home, Adam, Shiro, and Keith were all sitting on the couch while Olivia was asleep. "So how did it go? Did she say yes!?" Shiro, Adam, and Keith all said in unison. I nodded with a red face. All of them hugged me tightly. I giggled in apriciation. I was going to marry Pidge.
