"Did you get my message?"

"Y-Yes, Sir."

"Why didn't you report in."

"I was working on the mission and lost track of time."

Silence.

"Sir, if I may ask... They heard me when..."

"I don't care. Let them hear. Maybe it will motivate you to get this done faster."

The line went dead.

May was still lying in bed. She hurt all over. It always took her a couple days to recover after he did that...

She turned her head toward her door when she heard a soft knock. She swung her legs over the side of her bed.

Then she bent forward and clutched the side of her head as the room started spinning.

The door opened slowly, and then she felt hands on her shoulders. "Hey, deep breath." She recognized Yeosang's deep tone.

"I'm ok, I'm ok." She said as she exhaled. "I just sat up too fast." She was finally able to look up and smile a little.

He still looked really concerned, but he stood up and took a step back. "Do you feel up to eating?"

"Yeah, I should probably try a little something at least." She stood on shaky legs and Yeosang reached his arms out for support if she wanted it.

She groaned and let him wrap his arm around her waist. "Maybe you should stay in bed..."

"No, I need to walk it off. It helps."

"You've been through this before?" He said, turning to look at her.

"Um..." Shit... "Only once. It was a long time ago." She used one of her hands to weakly wave off the comment.

Yeosang watched her face as he helped her into the kitchen, not liking how it twisted in pain as she walked.

The rest of the team was already there and they all stood when the couple walked into the room. May hissed as she sat.

"How are you feeling?" Seonghwa asked, placing a plate with toast on it in front of her.

"Ok." She said, eyeing the toast. She felt her stomach flip a little and closed her eyes.

"You look pale, let's get you set up on the couch." He said, coming over to help her stand again.

She decided not to fight them. It felt weird though, being taken care of like this. Usually she spent her recovery time curled up on the bathroom floor, taking verbal and physical abuse from her boss when she didn't get back to work fast enough.

Seonghwa guided her to the couch and helped her lay down before throwing a blanket over here. Yeosang was close behind with another glass of water.

She could hear the other's whispering in the other room, but she soon felt her eyes closing as sleep tried to claim her again.

The members left quietly to go practice, letting her rest. Someone would come out to check on her every once in awhile just to make sure she was still ok.

That evening, she managed to eat some toast and a banana, getting some nutrients in her system at least.

She excused herself after a bit though, claiming she wanted to go to bed. But really, she needed to make sure she made her call on time tonight.

Her boss wasn't pleased with her, but he was thankful she obeyed him.

When she was feeling better, the members told her that they wanted to try and include her a little more and started asking for her advice when she sat with them during their individual training time.

Hongjoong was the first to ask, wanting to know what she thought of his lyrics for their new song.

"They are good," May said, actually telling the truth. "What is your meaning behind them though?"

"Well, it's a promise to our fans. Our Atiny's. We wouldn't be here without them." He rubbed the back of his neck and blushed slightly. "We want them to know how much they mean to us."

May's eyebrows rose. I'm impressed. "Do it again."

She also enjoyed when the member's learning a language came to her for advice. She had never considered herself good at teaching, but they were always so impressed when she corrected a pronunciation or taught them the proper way to phrase something.

San was a fast learner and sometimes when he spoke English, she thought he spoke better than some American's.

Her favorite time, however, was slowly becoming the time she spent with Jongho. He wasn't as intimidating as he first let on. In fact, he was the one who tried to ask her the most questions about her life. She shot most of them down with simple one- or two-word answers, but that didn't sway him.

She was fascinated by the way he would sing the same phrase over and over until he felt satisfied with how it sounded.

They really love what they do... But you can't get distracted. You are here for a reason. Mission first.
