It's Saturday morning. Von planned to get his birthday gift for his cousin today. He is expecting an incoming hectic week, things will be complicated because of clubs and school works. Knowing himself, he cannot afford the time to buy a presentation next week.

He is currently in a vinyl store inside the mall. The store is decorated to look authentic: the wood interior, the original posters from the concerts in the 70s, the neon signs, the bizarre pictures posted on the walls and racks full of records. Most of the songs blasted inside are from the 70s and Von is secretly grooving to the music.

It is not his first time to go here. He mostly spends his mall time in here, whenever he has the time he will shop here instead of going to clothing stores. He is familiarised with the rack sections so he knew where to find the specific vinyl he is looking for.

He took the suggestion of Clara to buy vinyl as a gift to his closest cousin; whom he shares the same interests with flowers, books, and music.

Von wanted to buy a specific vinyl for her since she talks about the band frequently and buying her a record will make her happy. But he is not sure if the vinyl he is looking is inside the store. It is unpopular and rare making him skeptical if he should leave the store or not.

"Ano pong hanap nila?" a voice bantered from his left and made him flustered.

When he had the chance of meeting the owner of the voice, he lost himself. A feeling he is not familiar with started to flow through his veins and making him shiver. His chest is about to drop from feeling every air he inhales and exhales.

"Uy, andiyan... diyan ka pala?" Von stuttered, trying to act normal while processing the moment in front of him.

"Well, I was not expecting to see you here." Pierre smiled and pierced the heart who he is sharing words with.

"Ako rin, ano...anong ginagawa mo rito?" Von asked. After uttering his question he realized how silly and dumb for asking his errands inside of a store; obviously to buy.

"May binili lang." Pierre replied and showed a bag of records he bought. "Ano pa lang hinahanap mo? Baka makatulong ako?"

"Actually, hinahanap ko yung X's vinyl." Von replied and bit his tongue to calm his breath.

"Ah, I saw an X vinyl stacked over there, halika samahan kita." Pierre smiled.

All Von could think is how he is literally glowing and blinding him. He has this nimbus over his body and invites him to lose whatever he has. Peculiarities are easy to fathom, yet there's no such thing to Pierre.

Von follows him like he is the explorer and he is his muse; discovering uncertainty together. He is taking it too far without knowing what will happen next; it is not an opportunity to let go.

"There they are." Pierre pointed a stack of yellow and black types of vinyl, quite dusted in this isolated space but sealed.

"Salamat." Von replied.

Von grabbed a piece from the stack and quite weary of his actions since Pierre's eyes could pierce his skin. Every movement was done in precise directions to avoid unnecessary movements.

He directed to the cashier without a word. After Von finished his endeavors he is skeptical of how to converse a statement with him. He is borderline shy and introvert, it is never his forte.

"Any plans after this?" Pierre asked when they reached the storefront.

"Wala naman." Von replied unknowingly what lies between his question.
