It was surprisingly breezy this afternoon, the wind is violently whipping to everyone's face and making their papers fly, Von's glasses almost jumped out from his face, thankful to his fast reflexes he avoided another hour of scolding from his parents to buy him a new one. It is his fifth set of glasses since 9th grade and the last glasses he had lasted for about 3 months only. Made his parents really furious, almost kicked him out.
He loves this gusty weather much, he wants to stay in this moment forever. Yes, he would sell his soul to the weather gods to make this every day and cancel any other seasons till his death.
"Ako 'yung tinignan ni Jan, okay! Wag kang ilusyonada, high ka na naman!" Katherine exclaimed as they pass through the gates of the school.
Good thing the time they are dismissed later compared to other classes since they have extra subjects this semester meaning there are almost no students around. Also, Von is relieved people will not see how scandalous his friends are.
"Alam mo, alam nating lahat, ako 'yun! Ningingitian niya ako pag nagkaka salubong kami, okay?! Siya rin nag-add sa akin sa Facebook! Settled na ako talaga 'yun." Fiona retorted.
"Para kayong tanga, may nililigawan na 'yun eh! Di niyo ba alam?" Clara opened the topic.
"Hm, oo sabi rin sa akin." Von added.
Actually, Von is not sure about the authenticity of this Jan courting someone gossip, but it comes from a reliable member. Someone from their club who collects school gossips and tells everyone while meetings, makes everyone excited when they are doing mundane stuff.
"Uy, anong chika 'yan?" Katherine stopped walking and stepped closer to them.
"Bakit 'di ko yan alam?" Fiona asked.
"Di ko pa sure ah, pero sabi nila ah. Si Jan daw tsaka yung magandang babae sa 4-E, yung maikli yung buhok, nakita nung source ko sa mall last Saturday. Shocking ano?!" Clara spilled.
"Nakakainis naman, akala ko may meaning yung pagpansin niya sa akin sa hallway. Pag nasa mga banda talaga mga player." Fiona complained.
"Kay Dan na lang nga ako, magkamukha naman eh. Mukhang mas mabait pa kumpara kay Jan." Katherine commented and arranged the books she's holding.
"Wow, bilis mag move-on! Grabe ah!" Von exclaimed. "Bakit ayaw niyo ba sa ibang mga kabanda nila?"
Von is quite embarrassed about the way he sought the vocalist's name by meddling to their conversation like this. He might not have many opportunities to know his name if he will not do any move at the moment.
Yes, it might be, he is crushing the band vocalist. Von is not sure what he is feeling after that happened. It rarely happens but it is not the time for his friends to know. This feeling might vanish in near time.
"Ay, si Angelo yung drummer? Ewan pero pogi rin naman kaso mas naunhan ko magustuhan si Jan kaysa sa kanya. Si Pierre? Iyong vocalist, medyo tahimik din kasi 'yun eh, di ko rin type yung ganon. Mas gusto ko yung outgoing yung personality eh." Fiona shared her feelings towards the band.
"Wow, kailangan may justification ano?" Von teased.
Von's plan worked effectively by asking Fiona. His friend never failed to provide excessive details about someone the moment you asked about it. Although indirectly she will still go through it.

What could be his surname? Second name, if ever? Von just wanted to know more about this boy and wanted to have an answer at the moment. Yet, he needs to be cautious about his actions since he does not want them to discover it yet. When the feeling is certain, that is the right time.
