Omega: the most submissive of the three secondary genders. in addition to males and females, there are male and female Omegas. They are naturally calm, nurturing, docile, and have good maternity senses. They make up approximately 25% of the human population. The hero world rarely has omegas, as they can be easily overpowered, but there are a few, Including All Might. Omegas can be impregnated by Alphas and male Betas.

Alphas: the most dominant of the three secondary genders. in addition to males and females, there are male and female Alphas. Alphas are naturally more aggressive, possessive strong, and have a good sense of leadership. they make up approximately 25% of the human population. The hero world mainly consists of Alphas. Alphas can impregnate Omegas and female Betas. The way a female alphas work is confusing but they do not play a part in this story so I will not explain them.

Beta: the more neutral of the three secondary genders. They are much like normal humans and do not have added fertility benefits. They have a heightened sense of smell but that is their only perk. They make up 50% of the human population They can be found in most Workplaces including hero work.

Society: Omegas, Alphas, and betas are all usually treated normally and equally in the world, omegas usually being treated a little more carefully. Alphas and omegas go through training and education courses starting when they are young to learn how to resist their urges and how to control their ruts and heats.

Pheromones: a scent secreted by both omegas and alphas which attract the opposite secondary gender and mates. Everyone has preferences and can find pheromones attractive or unattractive. Pheromones can induce heats and ruts and become uncontrollable when they're in heat or rut.

Heats: a period of time that an omega goes through once a month, if not on suppressors, which heightens fertility and increases sex drive. Omegas become extremely feverish and aroused during this time, and can sometimes lose their sense of moral and dignity. Male omegas produce a lubricant called slick and female omegas produce their natural lubricants. This time is not like a period. periods are still an occurrence in the omegaverse world and typically happen after a heat.

Rut: a period of time that an alpha goes through once their presentation as an alpha and any other time they give in to omega pheromones. this is just a biological reaction which programs the alphas brain so that reproduction is the highest thing on their priority list. They become extremely feverish and aroused.

Slick: a natural lubricant created by male omegas from their rear to enable access by an alpha or male beta. it is known to smell and taste like the omegas pheromones.

Suppressors: a pill or injection omegas can take to suppress their heats from happening and diluting their scent. this can be dangerous if they are used for more than three months. anything above can be lethal as the chemical imbalances after not having a heat for a while implodes.

KNotting: a process during sexual intercourse between an Alpha and Omega where a knot or a fleshy mass at the base of the alphas penis enters the omega during the alphas orgasm so ensure that semen does not escape the omegas canal. This results in the pair being stuck together for a few minutes before the knot deflates. this is a biological adaption to increase the probability of pregnancy.

Mates: mates are two people who have bonded by marking. in some cases, a polygamist can mark each other (three or more).

marking: a prosses where the Alpha and/or the omega bite the scent gland located on the neck of their significant other. This releases pheromones and mixes their scents which help indicate to others that the one marked is taken. this makes pheromones smell unattractive or scentless to those who are not part of the relationship and/or pose a threat. it is not for life and needs to be repeated every month or so. traditional marriage still exists.

Scent Gland: both alphas and omegas have these and they primarily secrete pheromones, they are very much like sweat glands but only a scent is released through the pores of the skin. Alphas only have one whereas omegas have two. they both have scent glands at their neck which can be bitten during marking to bind scents. they can be activated at any time and can be controlled but not during a rut or heat. Omegas have another set on their wrists they stimulate when they are nervous, anxious or need comforting by rubbing their wrists.
