Chap 1 "Endgame"

Mary's POV

I stood behind Steve as Banner had the gauntlet on. "You sure this is going to work?" I asked.

"Friday, activate safe mode," Tony stated. The building rumbled a bit as it activated the shield. "Okay."

"Is this going to work?" I asked, again. Tony nodded as Steve held my hand. "Alright, Banner. Whenever you're ready." He snapped his fingers and fell to the ground. Clint kicked the gauntlet away as I checked on Banner. "He's alive."

"Did I do it?" Banner asked as the building shut down safe mode. "Did I?"

"You're fine, big guy," I smiled. He opened his eyes. Before I knew it, we were being bombed. I was under a pillar and it had me pinned. The debris started dying down. I tried to push it off me. "Ah! Help!"

"Mary?!" Tony called.

"Tony, hey," I stated. "I'm over here." Steve and Tony ran over. "Get this off of me." Tony did as Steve helped me up. "Thank you."

"Are you okay?" Steve asked.

"I'm fine," I nodded. "I could use the suit, now."

"Friday," Tony smiled. "Suit to Mary."

"On its way," Friday stated.

A suit came flying and attached itself to me. "This is nice," I smiled.

"Come on," Steve stated. We followed him and found Thor. "Has he done anything?"

"He's just been sitting there," Thor crossed his arms. "I think this maybe a trap."

"Maybe," I shrugged as my helmet came off. "But I don't care. We killed him five years ago. We can do it again."

"You sure?" Thor asked. I nodded. He changed into his suit. "If we are, we're going to do it right."

"Where's the stones?" Steve asked.

"Somewhere under all this," Tony stated.

"Let's hope it stays that way," I replied. I got my helmet back on. The four of us faced Thanos. He took Tony, Steve, and I down. He had Thor pinned. "Steve." I crawled over to him. "Steve, the hammer."

"What?" Steve asked.

"Thor's hammer," I pointed.

"You're crazy," Steve stated.

"You know you can wield Mjolnir," I stated. "Now do it and save Thor." Steve groaned, knowing I was right. He did but Thanos was stronger. It took Thanos as good three minutes of Steve hitting him before he took Steve down. "No!" I blasted Thanos. I ran up to Steve and he got up. Thor and Tony joined us. Thanos released his army. "We're outnumbered."

"We fight," Steve nodded. "Till the end."

"Cap," Strange stated.

"It can't be," I nodded.

"To your left," Strange replied. A glowing circle appeared and T'Challa appeared with his head general and his sister. "We're here."

"It worked," I stated as my helmet came off. Peter jumped in next to me as his helmet came off. "Hey."

"Hey, you," Peter smiled. More circles appeared and the rest of our group appeared. "You miss me?"

"You bet," I nodded as I got my helmet back on.

"Avengers..." Steve stated. The hammer flew into his hand. "Assemble!"

We fought Thanos. "We gotta get those stones back to the timeline," Banner stated.
