"Are you okay?" Nakangiting tanong nito matapos ang event and yes, pinag-stay niya ako sa backstage with his band.

Paulit-ulit akong kumurap dahil hanggang ngayon ay hindi ako makapaniwala na nasa harap ko ang Northern Stars, si Polaris! Panaginip ba 'to? Kung oo, ayaw ko na magising!

"O-Okay, yes, I'm okay...."

He was checking my bruises at ginagamot niya pa 'to. His touch is so soft and gentle, tulad lang ng features niya at ng ugali. Oh my God, maiiyak na yata ako dahil sa saya.

"P-Polaris... w-what brought you h-here in our p-province? You have a concert in M-Manila... right?"

Halos sabunutan ko ang sarili ko dahil sa pautal-utal na pagsasalita at paulit-ulit na paglunok kahit wala naman akong kinakain!

"You did not listen, do you?" Then he chuckled. "We're looking for a star, someone who can sing and dance. My band and my Entertainment company are willing to take the winner in US for trainings and such..." aniya at nilagyan na ng gauze ang sugat ko.

"A contest...?"

"Yes, a contest. It will be held here later at night. Do you want to join, Miss... what's your name again?"

Oh my God! My idol is asking for my name! This is really unbelievable! My fangirl heart is about to explode!

Ramdam ko ang pamumula ng mukha ko habang naglalahad ako ng kamay. "P-Phoebe... I'm Phoebe Vega."

I shrieked when he accepted my hand. Nagtatalon pa ako saglit bago napansin na nakangisi silang nakatingin sa 'kin. Even Polaris is chuckling!

"Well then, Vega, do you want to join?"

Lalong lumawak ang ngiti ko habang tumatango pero nang maalala ang pinsan at sina Tita ay naglaho iyon. Malamang ay hindi nila ako papayagang lumabas... lalo naman ang sumali!

Just when I was about to say no, my phone beeped.

From: Phanie

I heard Polaris is there! Ipalista mo ako at sasali ako sa contest! Stay there, too, hanggang mamaya and reserve seats for Mom and Dad. They'll be watching.

She sounded so bossy pero natuwa ako sa utos niya. Pwede akong makasali nang hindi napapagalitan!

"Yes... and my cousin, Phanie, too." I smiled

Polaris nodded his head then told his manager. Hindi ko alam pero hindi na rin ako pinaalis nina Polaris sa backstage at hinayaan pa nila akong mag-fangirl.

"And I really, really like Polaris, as in! Oh my God, I can't still believe that I'm talking to Northern Stars!" Then I sniffed habang sila ay tuloy sa pagtawa. Kanina pa kasi ako nagk-kwento ng mga Northern Stars moments na napanood ko sa Youtube.

"Then I was so shock when Polaris accidentally broke your guitar and you were so mad! It was the guitar from your sister so I get it why you chose to ignore Polaris for a week!" Then we all laughed except Polaris who's now pouting his red, soft-looking lips.

"Polaris is indeed, the clumsiest in out group." Iiling-iling na wika ng guitarist nila.

"Oh, there was a video also of---"

"Ris, we're about to start. Please prepare now," wika ng manager nila kaya naudlot ang kwento ko.

Polaris and the other members messed my hair then started fixing themselves. Nandoon lang ako at nakaupo, still overwhelmed na daig ko pa ang nakipag-meet and greet sa idols kasi 'yong akin may chikahan pa!

"We'd like to hear more of your stories, Phoebe, some other time. For now, prepare because you'll be the last one to sing tonight..." wika ng drummer nila sabay kindat.
