Chapter 9 |Hey brother|

***Dean's POV***

I step onto the bus, looking at the empty seats. A few people are on, a woman, maybe 40. A small, lanky man. Lastly, a little girl, all alone. Her blonde hair I tied back into a long pony tail. I see a pink suit case in the seat next to her. As I walk down the isle the little girl notices me. Her little mouth pulls at the sides, giving me a large smile.

The bus starts to move after I sit behind the girl. She turns around in her seat, sitting on her knees looking at me.

"Hi!" she said cheerily. I smile at her enthusiasm. "I'm Lillith! You can call me Lily though."

"Hi Lily. I'm Dean." I say, giving fake enthusiasm. I'm still not so happy I left. But I had to.

"Where are you going?I'm going to my Aunt's house." She says putting a hand on my shirt sleeve, playing with the loose thread.

"Well... A friend's house." I say. I don't know where I'm going, really.

"What's their name?" she asks. What's up with the questions?

"Uh... Lisa." Lie. "Her name is Lisa."

"That's my aunt's name! Are you going to my aunt's house?" she questions. What am I doing, talking to a little girl?

"No, sweetheart."

"Oh." I all she says before turning around.

I sigh in relief, finally quiet except the hum of the rubber on the ground. I lean my head on my window, closing my eyes. I fell asleep, luckily. I walked for hours and spent a few more sitting in the bus station.

Feeling a jolt, I wake up from my sleep.

"Morning Dean!" Lily says, even though the sun is going down, "We are taking a potty break."

"Oh, okay." I say, rubbing my eyes. I left the bus behind everyone, making my way to the bathroom.

After I go, I buy some energy bars and a water. It was a short break, but long enough. I sit back in my seat, admiring the sun set.

"Pretty, huh?" I hear someone say. I whip around, seeing the lanky man. "Name's Garth." He introduces.

"Dean." I say, streching a hand out across the isle.

"How old are you, kid?" he asks.

"... Seventeen." I say carefully. He does give off a creepy vibe.

He studies me for a while before daying, "You runnin'?"

"Wh-Why do you think that?" I stutter.

"Are you, Dean?" he asks again.

"What's it to you?" I respond, glaring.

"Cause I did when I was your age. I wasn't like everyone else. After school, I changed. No one liked me. I didn't fit in. So I ran. Didn't bring much. But here I am, going home to my beautiful wife, Bess."

"You're telling me this why?"

"It'll get better. Not everything is to different it can't get better."

"How do you know I'm runnin' 'cause I'm different?" I ask wairly. How does he know?

"Tell me why, then." he says.

I tell him my situation from when Cas and I became friends to now. He nods, yeah's and mmhmm's here and there.

"Well, if you go home you can talk it out with you're  Father."
