chapter 1

"JUNG EUN- wait, are you crying?" my brother mark asked as soon as he came into my room.
"no, don't you see that I'm cutting onions?"
"what onions?"
"exactly"
"no but seriously what's the problem?" mark asked me again, this time a bit concerned.
"I don't know what to wear!"
"and?"
"what do you mean by that?! you said jaemin will be transferring to our school today that means I need to wear the best outfit I have!"
"why don't you just go and ask him what to wear?" he said chuckling.
"ha ha, very funny" I said as I rolled my eyes.
"no I'm being serious he's here right now"
"HERE?! where why when what-"
"well as you said he and also his brother will transfer to our school today and they asked me if we could go together - that's also the reason why I came in here in the first place, we gotta leave in 10" he cut me off.
"why doesn't renjun show them?" I asked him.
"he won't attend today since he caught a cold. anyways either you ask sleeping beauty jaehyun next to you what to wear - btw what's wrong with his own room that he always chills in here?" mark questioned frowning, "or you just wear your favorite jeans with the cute top I bought you last week since I'm the best brother ever, either way be down in 8 I don't wanna be late" and with that he left my room and closed the door behind him.

"JUNG JAEHYUN!" I said as loud as possible to wake up our older brother.
"don't ask me what to wear I don't know" he responded sleepily.
"so you were awake the whole time and didn't say a word nor helped me out? well thank you idiot that's what siblings are there for"
"it's my day off today I'm not here to help, speak or do anything else that requires my energy - and now if you don't mind I would like to continue my beauty sleep".
"yeah yeah, don't you dare to ask for my help anymore". after 2 more minutes I decided to just wear what mark told me to since the top he bought was really cute and matched perfectly with my jeans. I brushed through my long brown hair, put on a light eyeshadow and a bit of mascara, grabbed my bag and left my room with a "don't sleep to long, you have to make lunch for mark and me or else we'll whip your ass, love you byeeeeee". I ran down the stairs and held my breath when I saw jaemin standing there beautiful as ever.
"morning eunji!" he greeted me with a friendly smile.
"m-morning" I greeted back as I mentally face palmed myself for stuttering.
"where are mark and jeno?" right after that question left my mouth I heard footsteps coming from the living room.
"here we are, did you miss me already ji?" jeno asked me with his famous eye smile while he messed with my hair.
"haha of course" I said sarcastically, trying to fix my hair again.
"so now that we're complete, let's go" mark said as he finished putting on his shoes.

on our way to school, mark was walking next to jaemin in front of jeno and me. lisa joined us halfway through our way to school and brought a bit more energy in jenos and mine conversation about the new music store that opened downtown. at school lisa and I split with a "see you later" from the boys and went to our own class where the other three girls were already waiting.
"hey ji, why did the na brothers even change schools so fast after the beginning of the new school year?" lisa asked me as we sat down on our seats right behind chae, jennie and jisoo after greeting them like very morning.
"I don't know but mark said something about how they didn't quite get along with a few people from their school and they didn't have fun going to school or something like that and since the other boys from their squad also attend our school they transferred here." lisa nodded as a sign that she understood what I said and turned her head back to the front. we took the things we needed for this lesson out of our bags and ended our conversation as soon as the teacher came in.
