chapter 3

"the devil herself" mark said as I sat down at their table.
"shut up, you wouldn't have known if piggy hadn't told you so" I answered.
"who knows - where are the other three demons?" he wanted to know.
"lisa is talking to bambam in the hallway because they gotta do a presentation or something like that and the other three are on the toilet. btw chaeyoung is coming over tonight" I told him.
"bambam - I'll never get used to that name." mark thoughtfully claimed.
"well it's better than always having to say kunpimook, isn't it?"
"that's true. jeno and jaemin are also coming over tonight and I bet baekhyun's already at our house so he doesn't count" my brother said and made me look at the two other boys for the first time since I arrived.
trying to hold back my blush I mumbled a quiet "that's cool ... I guess" and started eating my food.
"how about we all just chill together tonight? i bet it would be funny" jeno suddenly spoke up
"that's a great idea, right ji?"
"uhm yeah sure. jaehyun will be more than happy to leave his - or well my - room to chat with chae the whole evening."
"that poor girl" jaemin said with a pitiful expression.
"well I think she doesn't hate it as much as she used to" I said smiling widely at the memories of the girl that was always annoyed as soon as jae approached her.
"speaking of the demon" mark said as chae, jisoo and jennie sat down by my side.
"hellooooooo" jennie almost screamed happily.
"heya - wait, who are you beautiful handsome boys? I'm jisoo and I'm very pleased to meet you" soo exclaimed happily.
jeno and jaemin smiled widely as the second one introduced them "my name's jaemin and that's my brother jeno, we're also very happy to meet you".
noticing that the two girls were in a really good mood I asked what happened.
"they both got a text from their crushes" chae answered with an eye roll "my name is chaeyoung btw but please just call me rosè and that energetic ball over there is jennie".
I nodded at her answer "is lisa still talking to bambam?".
chaeyoung thought for a moment and answered "probably - mark why aren't you eating?".
"I never liked the food in the school cafeteria but today it's even worse. that's supposed to be my favourite dish and they ruined it!" mark shouted like it was the worst thing ever.
"you'll get over it crybaby" jennie sighed.
"HELLO HELLO"
I cringed when I heard our friend shout like that.
"oh no" jisoo said and hid behind the frowning jennie.
"oh yes. your favourite girl is back, did you miss me already?"
"of course" we all said in union.
"good thing I'm back now" she winked at us.
"just sit down and eat your food already. speaking of which, what do you guys want to eat tonight?" I asked looking at our three guests for the evening.
"hey why aren't you asking me?" my brother complained with a pout.
I rolled my eyes and told him "because you'll eat everything that gets on the table".
"well I don't wanna say that's true but it's true" chaeyoung giggled.
"and that's the bell" I bid my goodbye and added "lisa and I'll be going home an hour early today because our teacher isn't here. I'll order the food before you arrive so we won't have to wait that long. also, haechan is eating lunch with us because he needs your help to find the perfect outfit for his date after that. see you at home".
I heard jaemin screaming that pizza would be perfectly fine and with that our girl squad went back to our classroom.
