Darien wakes up to a soft kiss on his lips, before he could grab the phantom kisser, he smelled coffee. He jumped up and groaned at the stiffness in his neck and back due to sleeping on the couch. He stretched and did a few more stretches to ease the kinks.

He went to the guest bathroom and smiled when he saw the toiletteries laid out on the counter. There were some of David's clothes left at the house, he had a quick shower, shave and donned the fresh clothes.

He drinks his coffee.

Letting his nose guide him to the lovely breakfast smells, he come to the kitchen and saw Liz preparing scrambled eggs.

He went up to her slipped his arms around her waist, "Good morning, how do you feel?"

Liz, switched off the stove, and turned to slip her arms around him, she laid her head on his chest, and looked up at him, "Feel good,"

Darien pulled away and looked down at her,  he tenderly touch the bump on her head, and he bent to look into her eyes, "Are you sure you are ok?"

She looked at him and smiled, "yes, i feel fine,"

"Lets eat," she said as she popped some bread into the toaster, and grabbed the plate of cut cherry tomatoes, and shredded lettuce leaves.

The toast popped and before she could grab the toast, Darien took them out. He pulled the chair out and told her to sit.

They had a quiet breakfast of toast, scrambled eggs and salad. As soon as all the breakfast items were cleared, Liz was sitting with her coffee when Darien said, lets get going, we need to go to the police station to report the robbery and get the locksmith to change the locks.

She looked at him and nodded her head in acceptance.

The locksmith came and changed the locks, he was fast and efficient and they locked up and went to the police station where David worked.

The Desk Sergeant was taking Liz's statement when there was small commotion and Liz looked up and found the robbers were being brought in with much difficulty. She looked down with a gasp and quickly whispered to Darien, "Darien, the men coming in now, they were the robbers!!,"

The Desk Sergeant looked up from his writting of the report and looked at Elizabeth. "Ok, will put them in a lineup, you identify them and you can press charges.

They stood in a line-up and Elizabeth identified them. After signing the report, Darien and she left the station.
