Stepping through the SGC gate in Dinotopia, Brandon felt a surge of exhilaration. Earth. He was finally back. Memories flooded back — that conversation on the cruise, the impulsive decision to leave with strangers. Major Davis' words echoed: he'd been too quick to abandon his home. Now, royalty or not, Earth was where he belonged. Sure, he'd enjoyed exploring other planets, but there's just no place like home.

Marion said with a smile, "Welcome back. It's always great to have Earth's first two Jedi Knights here in Dinotopia."

Sam replied with a smile of her own, "It's always great to be back. My Master and I have talked about staying here while the other Jedi go to all these locations that the Holocron has given us."

Mayor Waldo Seville stated, "I know how much you will miss these adventures. To tell you the truth, I don't blame you one bit. I have gone to other worlds. Trust me, they are more wonderful than here in Dinotopia. Just the same, I'm very happy that you will stay."

Brandon stated, "There is a lot for us to do on Earth. Being with our families. I would not like for them to worry if I am constantly in harm's way."

Amanda stated, "Daddy, you have done a lot for Earth in those regards. It's about time that they do their part."

He looked at his daughter with a loving smile, "For a six-year-old, you are super intelligent."

She smiled back.

Nomi replied to her daughter, "After your deep concerns for the safety of Sam and the rest of us, I'm very grateful that we can stay here on Earth with you. We love you, Amanda."

"It's the love that I have for all of you that got me so upset about the possible dangers."

Jolinar said through her father, "Amanda, you're like your father in every way. He has shown great love for all in the universe. That's why he did all those dangerous things, like destroying that Death Star."

"What now, Your Majesty?"

"Right now we will take it easy. Grand Master Ituor and his wife are doing most of the work regarding these Jedi cities that are scattered through time and space. The job of your father, mother, and Sam, now Empress of the Jedi Knights will be needed, but they will be doing it here on Earth."

"Can I still call you by your royal title?"

"I would love that very much. I'm just as much an Empress of the Jedi Knights as Samantha, but I have been responsible for the ancient history of the Jedi Knights. Think of me as an echo of what will expire from this day forward."

Samantha replied, "Unless you want me to deal with that aspect, then it will be yours to have. If it weren't for you, I wouldn't realize how important it is to be an Empress of the Jedi Knights. I owe an impressive deal to you. I hope I can still learn a lot from you."

Brandon said, "My Padawan, there are many things I have learned from you. The most important one... genuine friendship. The years I have trained you will always be with me."

"It will be the same for me too, Master, thank you."

Oriana finally met up with them. Amanda cheerfully greeted her Master. Oriana smiled, "It's good to see you, my Padawan."

Amanda looked at her parents. She inaudibly asked if she could spend time with her. The smiles they gave her were all she needed to hear.

After they took off, Marion smiled, "I see Amanda has enjoyed being trained by your mother, Your Majesty."

"I can't see a better person to train her."

After a few moments of silence, Nomi asked her husband, "Ready to be treated like royalty?"
