First day of school

'April love wake up' sandy said gently shaking my shoulder.

I opened my one good eye and smiled

'It's better then being woken up at six.' I said sleepily.

'Get ready now and ill have some toast ready for when you come down.' she said. 'okay how bad is my eye?' I asked

'It's better then yesterday love' she said. 'Ill find away to hide it.' I said and got up. she left me to get ready.

I put on my skirt and buttoned it up.

I did my hair and makeup and covered my eye pretty well.

'Crap I forgot my blazer and tie.' I said to myself. 'Sandy do either Robbie or jase have a spare blazer and tie?' I asked

'Yeah ill get you one.' she said going into their room. I waited patiently outside the door.

'Here to go love it might be a bit big but I don't you getting into trouble' she said

'Thanks um do you mind tying it for me' i asked

She nodded and quickly tied it.

'Now go he som toast before its all gone' she said with that said I skipped down the stairs.

I grabbed a slice of toast and perched on the window sill 'where's Robbie?' I asked taking a bite out Of my toast.

'In the bathroom' Jason said

Robbie walked In half asleep with his jeans on 'Robbie where's your shirt?' I asked 'umm I dunno.' He said

He wrapped his arms round me.

'What's this for?' I asked

'I love you April and I need you to that.' he said and kissed my forehead.

'Rob here's your shirt and tie.' Freddie said handing them him.

'Cheers Fred' he said yawning

'Hurry up you will be late.' Sandy said.

He put it his shirt on I buttoned it up for him while he tied his tie.

I grabbed my bag and we set off

'I wonder what my dad will say.' I sighed 'he can't touch at school.' Robbie said.

I nodded and held his hand.

We arrived at school and Robbie walked me to Patrick's office

'Where have you been April you worried me sienna dodger and will I nearly rang the police. it doesn't surprise me you were with him Mr Roscoe my daughter needs the best start in life and that means not getting involved with bad boys like you so leave my daughter alone.' he said

'Dad leave him out of this.' I said

'Here is your home work planner it has a time table get to your first lesson you don't want to be late.' Patrick said and shoved the planner into my ribs i clutched it and groaned in pain. 'are you okay April.' my dad asked 'yeah I'm fine bye dad.' I gasped

I left His office and looked at my time table 'Drama with Mr Lomax next English with Mrs Osbourne and then maths with Mr Blake.' I sighed

I walked happily to the drama room

'Sorry I'm late sir' I said and sat at the back 'so class this is the new girl April Blake by the way April you need a longer skirt then That but ill let you off.' mr Lomax said everyone turned to look at me

'Hey I'm April' I said shyly

'April did you see Robbie on your way here?' he asked

'Yeah he's at his locker.' I said
