Funeral

It had been 5 days since Melissa had died and April was dreading today since it was her funeral.
'You ready kido?' Mark said putting his hands on her shoulders.
'Ready as I can be for my two year-old daughter's funeral' she sighed and stood up.'it will be alright I promise' will said and kissed her forehead.
'It is now I have my big brothers by my sides' April said and put on a quick smile. suddenly there was knock at the door. 'Probably patrick I'll get rid if you like?' Mark said 'no let him in' April said.Mark opened the door and liberty walked. 'Liberty!' The all said in unison. 'I heard about my niece so I got on the first plane I could' liberty said and locked her arms round her little sister. 'I suppose it's my fault Silas told me to make sure Maxine goes through with the wedding but I forgot about it.' April sighed 'well he's being hunted down for putting our niece you daughter in hospital.' Liberty said they nodded and set off walking to the church.

'She absouloutly loved birds' Mark said 'yeah' April said Robbie caught up with her. 'Robs I won't cope' she said and hugged him 'you will I promise' he said 'I'm pregnant again and I was considering an abortion!what kind of monster am I? So I would of lost both of my kids' April said trembling still.
'Its ok ill be here for you and your baby' Robbie said 'so you were knocked up by a PE teacher!' Liberty said 'he raped me' she said and the continued on to the church.
It was time for the speeches,
'I only knew my cousin for a few weeks and for most of that she was in a coma but even for such a short amount of time you become close and every little game we played and conversation we had it was always special the way she was always full of energy and always had a smile on her face even though she'd been through hell she still put a smile on everyone's face and that's something ill never forget.' Nico said and sat down.
'Even though I had her at a young age I still loved her the same. Even though she lived two years she went through what most two year-olds wouldn't she was still special to me and Robbie. I will never forget my little girl and I will make sure her baby brother or sister will know every detail about their big sister Melissa Lauren Sandra Roscoe. I'm so glad you all could make it even you Rick,you supported me while she was in hospital and I thank you for that and the rest of Robbies family. Sandy Joe Freddie Ziggy Jason Lindsey and Little Alan I'm so sorry I left I will always love her forever and beyond.' April said and sat back down before she started blubbering bad
'The day of the accident she asked me "daddy promise to make mummy's hurts go away" I didn't know how I was supposed to do that so I put it to the back of mind with the stuff that my mum nags me to do then the thought came to me how did she notice Aprils "hurts" and how did she know what they were. That means she was a smart understanding girl and I love her and I will always love her even if we are a billion miles apart there won't be a day that goes by that I won't be thinking about her.' Robbie said tears stinging his eyes he went and contorted April. The rest of the funeral went like a blur before she knew it she was back home with her dad Sienna Nico and it was 2 days later. 'April are you sure you want to sell all Melissa's stuff?'sienna said 'not all of it keep all the unisex stuff and keep the pale floral shirt Bella likes it ill give it her.' April said and went back to reading her magazine 'okay then' sienna said took the bag to the charity bin. 'April can I sleep in your room tonight.' Nico asked 'of course you can darl' April said and put the spair duvets on the the floor. Nico layed down texted Perri. While she was occupied April grabbed the shard of broken glass and a bandage from the box under her bed.
She dragged it across and re-opened all the scars on her arm the pain was excruciating she craved more! but she couldn't it could harm her baby.
She carefully put it back in the box and bandaged her arm. 'April are you alright?' Nico asked sitting up.
'Yeah I'm fine why wouldn't I be' she said and pulled the duvet to her neck so her arms were covered. 'Its just that there is a price of glass under your bed with fresh blood on it.'she said 'that's paint I think it has nothing to do with blood or anything.' She said hoping Nico would buy it 'okay night' she replied and went to sleep
