And grabbed his bag and stuffed it with some of his clothes. 'What about Robbie?' I said. 'your leaving and I never got to tell you I love you.' he said
'I got into a really good school and I'm going to be staying with a good family friend Christine and her son Connor.' I said 'please I really love you' he said
'I....I...I need to ring Connor to tell him I'm coming today.' I said
'I don't care what you say April Im coming' he said
I got my phone and rang Connor
Me:hey Connor I'll be there tonight I'm setting off about three ish so I won't get there till like 5:30 or something
Connor😘:great I cant wait to Melissa
Me:yeah I'm scared of leaving Robbie and Jason though.
Connor😘:tell them ill be taking extremely good care of you both your like my cousins
Me:okay ill see you soon.
'I'm sorry Jason I love you but I can't take you with me Im going to start a new life and I'd rather not be dragging baggage from my past with me.' I said and kissed him. 'promise to Skype me everyday.' he said hugging me 'I promise.' I said.

Dear Robbie,
It's not easy but I'm leaving Im sorry to take Melissa our baby girl away you Barely knew her I promise ill visit you every other weekend and the weekends I don't go down you can come visit. You won't understand I need to leave all the bad moments behind this doesn't mean I love you any less I hope you still love me. I will Skype you all the time and text you all the time and ring you all the time and text you pictures of her growing up and ill come down on all my holidays.
If you still love me ring at exactly 3:30 if you want to make us work that is if you don't I get it.

'Of course anything else.' he Said taking it.
'Tell the boys that I love them and just cos I'm not here doesn't mean I don't have a birthday' I said he laughed
'Are you going now?' he asked 'yeah actually before anyone can talk me out of it.' I said 'Im gonna miss you' he said and hugged me one last time.
'Wanna help me pack the rest of her bag?' I asked 'alright then' he smiled
'God that was a lot' he said 'well remember she is a baby.' I said 'yeah true' he said we laughed and a silence grew. 'so this is it your leaving' he said
'Yeah I'm gonna go because I promised I'd say bye to dodger.' I said.
He nodded.I lifted Melissa up she could tell something sad was going on.
'Deh?' she said 'no we going' I said
'Please tell Robbie I love him.' I said to Jason 'I will' he said.
I put my bag round my shoulder held Melissa while she rested her head against me and pulled my suite case along behind me.
'April you came to say bye then.' dodger said 'yes but ill have to hurry up though' I said
'It won't be the same with out you.' he said 'I know I'm coming to visit next week though' I said
'I know but a whole week without you' he said I smiled and wiped my tears.
'Don't cry' he said and kissed my forehead.
'Do you think Robbie will still love me?' I asked 'if he doesn't he's an idiot.' he said and hugged me.
'April I'm not letting you leave!' I heard Robbie shout. 'I'm sorry my taxi's here in 5' I said
'Please let me come I've got my stuff in this bag please' he begged.
'Haven't you read the letter?' I asked
'Not yet.' he said
'Read it then and it will make sense.' I said he turned his back and opened the letter. 'bye dodge. I love you Robbie' I Said kissed his cheek and left.'No let me come for the journey please' he said
I kissed him passionately in the lips.
'Ill ring you at 3:30 then' he said.
'Nope your a dad and I want you to be there for her.' I said. and took his hand and we got in. 'your letting me come?' he said 'you'll have to apply for the school though and Christine might not want you' I said
'Eh,deh' Melissa said 'yeah daddy is coming' I said. 'station please' I said to taxi driver. he nodded and set off.
'Jason asked to come' i said
'What did you say to him?' he asked
'I told him I needed to start a new life and I'm not dragging my past with me' I said. 'I still can't belive you were going to leave me.' he said.
'I know I'm sorry' I said
'You know ill have to go back.' He said 'yes but as soon as you've got in they will squeeze you in at the school house.' I said
'And if I don't get in I'm skyping you everyday' he said. 'yeah I can believe I'm leaving I've lived there for nearly three years and I'm leaving' I said and looked back as hollyoaks became distant
