A/N: And here it is. This story is now officially complete! I've really enjoyed writing it, it's been lovely. After this I'm going to totally focus on The Road to Verona (there's already a new chapter up so check that out if you haven't already.)

"Avi, what do you think?" I tear my gaze away from Kirstie's collarbone to where Scott's trying to ask me something. "Hmmm what?" Out of the corner of my eye I see Kirstie smirk at my obvious confusion and I know I'm going to get teased like crazy later. "What do you think about changing up the order of the last three songs?" "Yeah sure sounds great." Scott scowls. "Avi are you ok? You've been kind of distracted." Kevin and Mitch look concerned but Kirstie just looks like she's trying not to laugh. "I was just thinking about something I have to do when I get home."
"Would this have something have anything to do with your girlfriend?" Mitch's eyes flick up from his phone excitedly and Kirstie starts choking on her water. Kevin grins smugly.

"Avi, you have a girlfriend?" Scott's tone is curiously excited and Kirstie's managed to stop spluttering. "Um no. I mean yes. Well it's sort of." Her eyebrow quirks upwards and I start to feel even more uncomfortable. "Right so is that a yes or no?" I make eye contact with her and she smiles. We've already established our relationship status but we agreed not to tell anyone. We wanted to have some time to ourselves. I didn't want to have to deal with drama or stress. I just wanted her. I still do but this is clearly a crucial moment. She's leaving it up to me to decide. I can keep things the way they are or I can change them. "It's a sort of."

"Anyone we know?" Scott's glancing suspiciously between me and Kirstie and it's making me nervous.
"No." Scott, Mitch and Kevin start to ask me questions but Kirstie stays silent. "Guys could we maybe talk about this later?" They reluctantly agree and we go back to planning our next shows. Kirstie's abnormally unenthusiastic and I find myself worrying about her. Her eyes don't meet mine for the rest of the meeting and when she's asked a question she answers as briefly as possible.

"Hey gorgeous. Were you feeling ok at the meeting before?" I can hear her sigh down the phone. "Why didn't you tell them about us?"
"What do you mean?" She sighs again and when she next speaks her voice wobbles slightly. "You had the chance to tell them and you didn't. Why don't you want people to know that you're with me?" It's clear what she thinks. "Kirstie it's not because I'm embarassed, I just like having our privacy."
"So what you're going to pretend that you have some girlfriend that we don't know?"

I'm beginning to think that I should have thought this through a little bit more. "I don't know."
"Avi. I just want you to remember that I wasn't all that keen on keeping this a secret to begin with." Her tone marks this out as a mistake on my part. "Kirstie I love you. You're the best thing that's ever happened to me and the only thing keeping me from shouting that from the rooftops was that I wanted to have some time to ourselves."
"Avi."
"Yeah."
"You know how I live alone now?" "Yeah?"
"So I'm alone and you should definitely come and fix that."

"So I'm forgiven then?" She's sat on my stomach, wearing my shirt and smiling lazily. "Maybe." She runs her hands up and down my chest, grazing my skin with her nails. I groan softly and she smirks. "Kirstie." It comes out as a whine "Something wrong?" Her overly innocent expression and pout have my mind racing and any tiredness left over from our previous activities disappears. I grip her waist and turn us over so that I'm hovering above her. I lean down and press a kiss to her neck, simultaneously reaching down to pull the shirt off her body. "Woah there. Slow down, we should probably talk." I roll to lie next to her with a pout of my own and she smiles and runs a hand through my hair. "Stop sulking. I just want to say that I'm sorry if I overreacted before."
"Kirstie, you didn't overreact it's fine. You were being totally reasonable and I think you're right. We should tell them." She kisses my chest. "Thank you. I love you."
"I love you too."

"Oh my goodness."
"Scott, Mitch what are you doing here?" Kirstie's voice is panicked and she springs away from me, throwing the blanket over me. "We were just coming to check you were ok?" Scott looks suitably embarassed "You're obviously not doing too badly." Mitch's grin has me clutching the blanket tightly and I can see Kirstie pulling the t-shirt further down her legs. "Why on earth did I give you a spare key?" Mitch rolls his eyes. "Guys it's fine. We had an inkling anyway. Well Scott did." "Really?" Scott nods, still clearly not comfortable with the situation. "You looked pretty cosy when she stayed at yours. Plus you've been acting kind of odd since you got back." Kirstie steps towards the bed and sits down beside me. I wrap my arm around her shoulders instinctively. Scott smiles "Well even if this isn't necessarily the best way to find out about it, I'm happy for you both. It makes sense."
"Yep it does. You're a sickeningly cute couple." Kirstie leans her head on my shoulder and I can't keep the grin off my face. "Anyway. We should leave you to it."

As soon as they leave, I cover my face with my hands. "That was fun."
"At least they're happy about it." I move my hands so that I can see her. "Always looking on the bright side aren't we?" She sighs and moves to sit on my lap. "Are you not pleased?"
"Of course I am. They're our friends and I'm glad they're happy for us." She's smiling as she kisses me and my arms settle around her. "You know what this means."
"What?" She starts slowly kissing down my neck towards my chest, pausing to nip at a point just above my collarbone. She shifts her weight slightly and I groan. "Kirstie what does this mean?" Instead of answering straightaway she runs her hands down my sides to my hips. "We still need to tell Kevin." She stops touching me and stands up from the bed, walking towards the door. I jump up and step forwards, wrapping my arms around her and kissing her cheek. "You definitely have a point but I think that can wait until later."
"Fine." I pick her up off the floor and she squeals. "Avi." I lift her onto the bed and look down at her, her messy hair's covering the pillow and her eyes are mischievous and lust-filled. Essentially she's perfect and somehow she's mine and I am totally one hundred percent hers.
