After Elora had explained everything to Eric he sat there and stared at her. They sat this way for a very long time. Absorbing what had just happened until long into the night.
"Teach me." Eric commanded a hopeful look in his eyes.
"Are you always this bossy?" Elora teased. That brought a smile to Eric's lips and he almost seemed like his old self again.
Eric stared at her a little longer until Elora finally relented. "OK, fine." She said quickly and got up and walked over to the edge of the forest.
"First." she began "Never turn your back to another werewolf." she said with lots of passion. Eric straightened his back and listened carefully.
"Actually, you'll probably need to know how to shift into a wolf first." she debated out loud, then went with her second choice.
"Ok, close your eyes" She commanded. Eric did as he was told. "Now imagine a wolf, a large, strong alpha." she slowly walked up and touched his hand, she held it tight in her own. "His legs, are they strong? His body, is it thin and lean or muscular and thick? Picture his gate, how does he run, fast smooth, loudly? Picture his colour." she said this all slowly walking around him, touching his shoulders as she went.
A small light came out of his chest and slowly gulfed Eric up and in its place, it left a strong muscular wolf. He was black with a dark brown strip come from his muzzle over his right shoulder and under his belly. The line traveled to the other side of his body and ran down his tail. He had long legs with dark brown socks on his feet, his nails were long and dug into the earth. Eric was huge. The last thing she noticed was his eyes. They were the most beautiful thing she had ever seen. They were a brilliant blue they shone like the brightest star, she stared at them, not able to pull her gaze from him.
They sat there, Elora staring into his eyes, his wonderful eyes. Finally Eric pulled his foot back on the ground breaking up dirt and she woke from her wonderful dream.
Elora cleared her throat and then started to talk. Elora talked for ages. She mostly taught him how to fight. At first Eric was a little unsteady, not used to his new body but he got used to it very quickly.
By the time Elora was done the basic lesson it was very late and Eric was tired so they walked home. At this point Elora had shifted into her wolf form as they walked through the forest together.
Elora turned and started to walk a little way into the forest but Eric had jumped at her and attacked her from behind. Eric was now pinning Elora to the ground.
"First. Never turn your back to a werewolf." He mocked Elora laughed and spun out of his grasp she ran into the woods and dodged trees until she reached a large oak. She hid behind it as Eric came into view.
"Where did she go. He put his nose up in the air and inhaled deeply. Elora lunged and tackled. Elora was faster but Eric was stronger. Eric didn't struggle under Elora 's small form, but instead they both shifted into their human forms and Elora leaned in closer to Eric. She paused when their faces were so close that if you stuck a blade of grass in between them it would touch both their faces. Eric put his hand on the back of Elora 's head and kissed her lightly. Elora pressed closer to him to deepen the kiss the kiss was long but both of them didn't stop, wising the kiss could last forever until they heard a crack in the trees.
Elora sprung off of Eric and searched the trees. On the very edge of the tree line stood a very stunned Vicka. "Sorry guys didn't mean to bother you." she said but still walked toward them. Elora smelled fear coming from Vicka but wasn't sure why. so she asked. "Are you okay. What's wrong?" Elora was starting to panic.
"Its Eric's father."
Elora 's heart rate quickened.
