Elora lay on the cold uneven ground of a cave. She was lying as far away from the water that flowed smoothly through the cave. Elora sat up and Vicka looked at her. She wasn't supposed to be in the cave, it was the alpha's place to be and although she was very dominant vicka was not an alpha. The only reason she was in the cave was because Elora 's parents were out hunting.

"How are you feeling?" vicka asked Elora who was sitting with her back against the wall.

"I felt a pull deep inside that feels like I was supposed to be close and it felt comforting. What do you think it means?" Elora was staring off into the distance but then looked Vicka in the eyes and vicka immediately dropped them to show submission over Elora.

"It's ok, It will be alright. Wanna go for a walk take your mind off things." Vicka said standing up and then helping her friend up.

"That's a good idea. Thanks, Vicka."

They walked at a swift pace along a path in the woods and they talked, not as alpha to pack member but as friends.

"And the way you distracted him! That was brilliant" Vicka said complimenting Elora on her fighting skills.

"Thanks. Wait do you smell that? It's horse." Elora asked Vicka with a curiosity sneaking into their heads.

"There's no wild horses in these forests. If there is horses they must have..." Vicka trailed off

"...riders." Elora finished for Vicka. The smell grew more powerful and the ground began to shake.

"There is a lot of them we should stay off the path." Elora suggested. "We'll watch from the oak." She said pointing at a large oak tree standing next to a group of poplars. They both climbed the tree as quickly as they could and watched the horses come down the path. There was many of them, all were different shapes and colours. But what really caught Elora 's attention is the one leading the group.

"It's Eric!" Elora said a little louder than she had meant it to be.

All the men stopped in front of the tree on the path.

"This is where we saw them last." He said standing next to a spot in the snow that was red from the blood of Mark.

"It happened all so fast but the two girls were alone, all by themselves." He spoke with a loud voice that filled the forest. His brown hair swayed around him when he moved his head. Elora stared mesmerized by his beauty that she had not realized before.

Vicka whistled the same way that Elora and she would do whenever a cute wolf was around.

Elora felt a pain of jealousy and before she knew what she was doing she snarled at Vicka.

"Sorry, Don't know where that came from."Elora told Vicka but deep down inside she wasn't sorry at all.

All that Vicka did was a very wicked grin.

Elora just rolled her eyes and turned her attention back to Eric, Prince Eric, but she smelled something coming down the path, it was a pack member.

Eric looked around and then he saw something in the corner of his eye. He looked up and saw a little girl walking on the trail singing and plucking petals off of a flower that she held in her hand.

Elora was the first to make a move. She jumped from the tree and stood in front of the girl as the little girl, whose name was Maggie, looked up a shocked look on her face.

"Elora!" she squealed but Elora had her attention on the men who threatened to kill her pack member with raised arrows and drawn swords.

Eric held up his hand and they froze ready to fire at any moment. She looked every one of them in the eye but they didn't drop their gaze. They're not wolves, Elora. She told herself but when she looked Eric in the eyes he held her gaze for a moment before dropped his eyes.

At that moment when for the first time in a very long time Elora didn't know what to do.

Eric still held his hand up but one bowman thought differently and released his arrow. At that moment Folan, in his wolf form, jumped from the path and in front of Elora and Maggie. The arrow struck his fur but he didn't wince. Being a male he had to protect the females first. He jumped from the path and onto the man who had shot the arrow. Other men stabbed him with their sword but that just made Folan and Elora even angreir. Her wolf pushed to kill the man who tried to kill her father and she shifted in mid air, shifting faster than most wolves would ever be able to do.

She lunged at the bowman tearing him from his horse and ripped at his flesh and jumped from man to man killing knight after knight.

Eric was amazed at Elora. She's a werewolf. She's a werewolf!!! Eric was now very surprised and he drew his sword trying to stop the men from fighting them, there were now werewolves everywhere surrounding them. They could not win this.

"Stop, you fools. We cannot beat them theirs to many of them." Just as Eric said this a painful scream filled the air as a dismounted swordsman drove his sword into Elora 's side, making her fall to the ground but Vicka was there in a flash, she bit the knights neck closing off his airway but not killing him.

"You shall suffer for hurting my alpha!" She screamed the man dropped to the floor grabbing his throat. Vicka didn't hesitate she grabbed Elora by the scruff on her neck and with the help of Reliha who had herd Elora's scream and had ran from the cave. And in less than 20 secounds she was by Elora's side. She helped drag Elora away as another yowl filled the air and Reliha fell to the ground motionlessly.
