They all stared at him incredulously, in shock at what they just heard.

"We passed?" Naruto spoke, confused at what the older ninja said. The ninja nodded, eyes wrinkling, noting a smile underneath his dark mask.

"Though, you broke all of the rules...," Kakashi started, eyeing the blonde. Naruto only looked around nervously, scratching the back of his head.

"You decided to feed Sakura and sacrifice your bell to someone you just met, " Naruto only hummed in response and shrugged, even he didn't understand why he decided to help her, much less a human.

"In this world, those who break the rules are scum, But those who abandon their friends," Kakashi closed his eyes, breathing in.

"are worse than scum" His tone darkened as a memory flashed before his eyes. The three who stood before shuddered at his words. Scared if they do go back on his words.

"Alright! Wasn't that fun?" Kakashi's mood faded almost instantly and clasped his hands together. The two genins and the fox just nodded vigorously

"You... You don't have to tell me how it happened, I already know,"

Shina's voice came out strained, brows creased as she looked down at the woman's hands on her clawed ones. Tsunade seemed to understand, not knowing how she knew but accepted it was a touchy subject for her.

Tsunade got up and reached for the hospital covers but hesitated as Shina lowly growled at her, red ears flickering.

"I just want to check on the wound on your leg" her voice soft, completely different tone from before. Noticed that Shina didn't budge, she continued.

"It was the biggest wound you sustained" Hearing that Shina calmed down, breathing in and wordlessly nodded. Tsunade seeing this, gently removed the covers and examined the bandaged leg.

"I'm going to have to remove them" Shina nodded as she eyed Tsunade grab a pair of scissors from behind.

The older woman proceeded to cut the dull wrappings and it had revealed a grand wound starting from the hip to the knee.

"It's going to scar if you keep wasting your chakra like this," Tsunade commented as she continued to stare at the wound.

"It's going to scar either way," the red fox retorted. Tsunade eye-rolled at her stubbornness, her hand continuing to throb of the ghostly pain she still felt.

"It's your human greediness that caused this anyway," Shina's eyes squinted at her, crossing her arms against her chest.

"And you're acting as if you're not too far from human yourself," Tsunade spoke not looking up at her, gently touching around the wound.
