-stupid giraffe-
Lili's POV
I open the bathroom door.
There he was laying in the tub with blood all over him.
I ran to him.
"Caleb!" I cried and held his hand that was covered in blood.
I tried waking him up but I knew he couldn't come back anymore.
I cried and cried for hours.
I didn't call anyone because what could they do?
His parents were never home and now they were on a business trip.
"I love you." I whispered and kissed his hands.
"It's her." An unfamiliar voice says.
I turn around to be met with a male figure and everything went black.
I wake up sweating and panting hard.
I felt a bile rise in my throat.
I rushed to my bathroom and vomitted out my dinner.
I knew exactly why this is happening.
It's his birthday next week. And everything going on is taking a toll on me.
Suddenly moving not only schools but my country too.
I loved him. I still do.
I washed my face and flushed down my dinner.
I walked out and climbed up to the roof.
I laid down on the roof, staring at the stars.
Thinking of the 'what ifs' and 'whys'.
I closed my eyes and looked to my left after opening it.
I almost let out and ear shrieking scream but he covered my mouth before I could.
I struggled to get out of his hold.
"I'll let go, if you promise to shut the fuck up." He says and I roll my eyes. He lets go of me and move further away from him.
Stupid Giraffe.
"You should stop swearing you know." I say.
"You should stop being annoying you know." He retorts.
"I know." I say quietly. "What are you doing here? I ask.
"Taking a smoke." He says taking out a cigarette from the cigarette packet.
I frowned and took the cigarette from his hand and threw it away.
He glares at me and takes another one out.
I take that and that packet away from him and throw it away, too.
"You can't do that." He says lowly.
"I just did." I say.
"You're gonna regret that." He says.
"And you're gonna thank me later." I say.
He moves closer to me and I didn't back away.
He goes over me and pins me down.
"I need a cigarette and I need it now!" He says.
"Why?" I narrow my eyes at him.
"That's how I stay alive and it's my distraction." He says.
