"You've yee'd your last haw, McCree-" "no chance, Lucio, for I will show you no Mercy!!"
Saturday afternoon, 12:39pm. Jacob and I were playing OverWatch at Jacob's house. After the events of the night before, even though me and Jacob were still on good terms, I haven't spoken to Jamie ever since I dropped her off yesterday. I hope she's ok. "Nonononono-" Jacob's about to lose, so I quickly use my super move and down he goes. "Hell yes! I win, again!" I exclaimed. Jacob puts his controller to the side and rests his head on his hand, "heh, you're just lucky." "Sure, luck got me to win 6 times. But hey, at least you won a round... once." Jacob chuckles slightly and looks down, then looks back up at me, "hey, sorry for yesterday-" "oh, so now you're apologizing?" I jokingly ask him. He scoffs, "shut up. But I'm really sorry for yesterday, I was just really tired. I'll be better next time." "Hm, sure..."
Just then, from the house right across from Jacob's, from the window and behind the curtains from the other room, , a light turns on. I see it, but because of the blinds, all I see is pink. "...that's an oddly pink room..." I say, in curiosity and confusion. "Wait till you see who's in it." Jacob says, face completely blank. I didn't know what he meant, until the person from the house across opened the blinds... and it was her. Jamie. Look, I knew that Jamie had lived right next to Jacob since I picked her up from her house yesterday, but I didn't know it was that close. She looked like she had just woken up, considering her pjs, messy hair, and eyes still partially closed. She walks out of the room, closing the door behind her. I could see her room a lot better now, or from at least from where I'm sitting, and it's completely pink, wall to wall. "Oh... I didn't know she was that close to you." "Yeah... she always wakes up at this time during the weekends, mainly because she stays up till midnight or so." "How do you know that she stays up late?" "Well , mainly because, I dunno, she keeps her fucking light on in her room and her blinds open, so it annoys me and I can't sleep cause of it." "Well, that's because you're a vampire." Jacob makes a face at me jokingly, and I chuckle, brushing it off. Jamie comes back into her room and flops onto her bed, grabbing what seemed to be a remote from her bedside table, and turned on the TV. Then, she finally looks over from her window. She faintly smiles, rubs the sleepy from her eyes, and waves to me, and I wave back, smiling. Jacob keeps a pessimistic look on his face, and once she sees him, she puts down her hand, then guides her gaze back towards the TV. "Don't even get me started on her dog." Jacob finally says. I ask, "what dog-", but then I see Jamie pick up a small dog and put it onto her bed, petting it. "Aww.. but what's wrong with it?" "Well, first off, it's a Yorkshire Terrier, and just the breed in general is annoying as fuck. Second, from its size, it's a toy Yorkie, which makes it worse. And when she takes it out, she doesn't use a leash or doesn't even clean up after it. Fucking annoying." "What did I hear you say earlier about 'being better next time'?" Jacob doesn't respond back, instead, he just looks down. I look back up to the window. Back at her.
Then, Jacob finally responds, "you don't like her, do you?" "...what? Why are you asking?" "....just out of curiosity..." "Well, what would you do if i did have feelings for her? Since you're sooo curious." "I... I dunno, I just wanted to ask, since she gave you that stupid flower, you've just madly fallen in love with her-" "Jacob, you better watch your fucking mouth.... I don't care for her, in that way. I don't even know her that well. I only had invited her last night so she can make friends, because you know the poor girl can't do that on her own." "So that's why she would need a tall guy like you to help her." "I'm only doing it because I care, unlike you." He paused for a minute or 2. Jacob decides to not fight back anymore, and instead got up and spoke, ".....I'll be right back," then steps out of the room.
I really don't know what his problem is with her. But I just really hope he can warm up to her... eventually. On another note, the question he had asked... if I had liked her.... I mean, I don't blame him for asking, because, to be honest, it did look obvious, even from the naked eye. And it probably wasn't a good idea to avoid the question like that, reason why he got to heated.. but I don't know how he would actually react if I did tell him that I did... if I did... because, I don't think of her in that way... at least, I don't think...
