Princess Amara
The big smile on her face can't deny the fact that she really missed their island.
After spending a week in Thailand and another week in other countries for her royal duties, Princess Amara of the Ha Ci Yan Tribe can finally see the outline of her beloved island.
She can't wait to show everyone the new things she had with her and share the things she learned on her official benchmarks in other countries.
The Ha Ci Yan is a small tribe that resides in the largest island of the Biondo Group of Islands near Thailand. They are technically under the King's rule. But their tribe is also an independent nation under the protection of their loving Rajah Amak Hak'Yan, Amara's father.
"We're home Princess," Amir -his best friend and the leader of the royal guards- told her.
Amara can already see the outline of her beloved island. She knows that it's still an hour and a half before they reach it but she can't hide the smile on her lips.
"I know. Home Sweet Home."
"Wait. Where are the people?" Amir asked loud enough for only Amara to hear. Amara suddenly stood up from where she was seated but before she can step out Amir hold on to her wrists which he also suddenly let go.
"I'm sorry Princess but please stay here first. I'll just check on something."
Amara knows how protective Amir is and she respects that. Even though they basically grew up together and considers each other as friends, Amara is proud of how much Amir follows the rules and responsibilities as chief of the royal guards.
"Princess, the royal escorts are here. They will take you to home."
"Wait. You're not coming with us?"
"As I've been told there was a little trouble at the school so I'll head there first and report to the rajah after."
"What happened? Is anyone hurt? I'll come with you." Amara made attempts to follow Amir to his car.
"No princess. I'll take care of this. I know you're tired and you miss your father. So go and I promise to call you as soon as I learn more." Amir opened the car door that will take Amara home.
The Princess didn't protest for she knew that she can trust Amir. And he was right. She does miss her father.
Looking at the windows of her car, she can't wait to see him again. Though, she was thinking about the lack of poeple by the docks earlier. Usually, with long trips out of the island his father would throw a big feat whenever she comes back. He would always be there standing with his people waving at me and I'll be welcomed by his arms around me.
All other worries and uncertainties flew out of the window when Amara finally saw the bridge that leads to his father's house. The people call it pulo that means a smaller island. Even though she moved out of the house for a few years now she still feels nostalgic everytime she comes here.
Amara wanted independence and her privacy so she asked his father to let her live at the main land and be near the people. And before she went to college, the Rajah gifted her her own place. She has two house helps and a guard outside which she thinks is an unnecessary detail since it has always been peaceful in this area.
She waited for the car to finally stop before she stepped out without waiting for the other guards to open it for her. She stepped out with all smiles only to be greeted by silence.
No one was there except for the security details she is with who carry her suitcases and other purchases. She quickly made her strides towards the house and was able to see one of the younger house helps.
"Halat (wait) what is happening? Where is the Rajah?"
"Prinsesa! The Rajah is not here. He went to the hospital." The young help replied while looking at the floor.
"HOSPITAL?! What happened to him?"
The young help's eyes grew big at hearing the alarmed tone of the princess. Amara suddenly softened and dismissed her with the wave of her hand. She also called for one of his guards and informed him that they will be heading to the hospital right now.
Amara tried to reach his father as well as his council but no one was answering her calls. When they reached the hospital there were a few people gathered at the entrance. She can also see a few reporters from the local media present. It made Amara's brows meet. What could possibly explain all this and most importantly, is her father alright?
