all these years
summers and months

all the winters and journeys
all the cities
streets and houses

all the gardens and trees
all the woods
seas and oceans

all these autumn's between us
all the people between us
secret words between us

if you think about the distance between us
i'm nearly terrified of how close
you lay next to me when you sleep.
