"Ate Bei, talaga bang hindi ka available mamaya?"
"Dans I told you, I have a class." I responded to her na may kasamang irritation sa boses ko. Pa'no ba naman kasi, for the nth time today, Dani has been asking me if I can go with her to watch the basketball game between Ateneo and La Salle mamaya.
Finals na ngayon, game 2 and it's a do or die game for Ateneo. If they lose, then that's it for them this season.
"Why not ask Jules or kaya si Ponggay?"
I heard Dani sigh on the other line.
"Ate Jules is with Marco and Ate Ponggay is with Kuya Kobe. I don't wanna be a fifth wheel."
Natawa na lang ako sa sagot ni Dani.
"And diba, 2pm yung class mo. Eh 3 ang start nang game. Tsk, if I know—"
"Okay ganito nalang." I instantly cut her off. Alam ko na naman kung anong gustong sabihin ng babaeng to eh.
"If maaga matatapos yung class ko mamaya, I'll try to catch up with you later sa MOA, sa game. Okay na ba yun?"
"Really? OMG, thank you Ate Bei. The best ka talaga. See you later" I can sense the excitement in her voice. Itong si Dani talaga oh.
"But, I'm not going to promise you ha. Baka umasa ka sa wala later."
"Ate Bei naman eh. Sige ka, pag ikaw talaga hindi pumunta mamaya, you'll know—"
"Ravena!" For the second time around, I cut her off with a serious tone this time.
"Bye Ate Bei, love you and see you later." Pagkatapos no'n ay binaba na niya na yung phone.
Time check, it's already 1:00pm. I still have an hour before my class. I decided to spend my free time by reviewing my thesis paper. These past few days, I've been busy with my research especially because malapit na din yung defense. And graduating na din ako kaya I'm super busy with acads. Plus there's still training pa sa volleyball. Definitely, I have so much to handle in one plate. There's so much pressure that I need to handle and cope.
After my 2:00pm class, I directly went to my car. I'm going to MOA to accompany Dani and watch the game.
3:30 pa naman so for sure kaka-start lang ng game. Thankfully, naka-abot ako.
As soon as I arrived, immediately dialed Dani's number.
"Where are you? I don't have any ticket so hindi ako makakapasok sa arena. Siguro naman, binilhan mo ako ng ticket diba?"
"Don't worry Ate Bei, nabilhan na kita ng ticket. I'm in the bathroom, mag-aayos lang ako tas pupuntahan kita para sabay na tayo papasok sa arena." She said

"Alam mo Ate Bei, mukhang tama nga si Kuya Isaac" Dani suddenly said in the middle of the game.
"What?"
"You're malas nga talaga. Tingnan mo yung score oh. Down sila ng 14pts."
I gave her a glare. Bwisit 'tong isang to!
"Ah ganun?" I stand up from my seat as if leaving the arena but then Dani stopped me.
"Joke lang Ate, stay here." She said and as if nagpapa-cute.
I sighed and gave her another glare. I sat down and watch the game intently.
As I watch the scoreboard, ahead pa rin ang La Salle but the lead was cut down into 10 and Thirdy was on the free throw line.
