Rivals don't stay riv...
Dongmyeong rushed into the vocal line's practice room holding his phone out in front of him. He started talking really fast and I couldn't tell what he was trying to say. Once the phone was steady in my hand I gasped.
(y/n) and Youngjo? Together snuggling? What? I looked up and Dongmyeong nodded, signaling it was true. My face dropped immediately, my brain going crazy with a mix of emotions. Through the mess of thoughts I heard Dongmyeong trying to comfort me, "you might still have a chance, you never know... it could have been an accident!"
I nodded and gave myself a little 'fighting' cheer, turning back to the rest of the vocal line. They looked a little confused at first but I explained. "Ever since Dongmyeong went out to Produce 101 and The Unit, I've been able to be around (y/n) a lot. And I've developed a little bit of a crush on her."
Keonhee's face went to an O and Hwanwoong nodded slowly. Gunmin went over and put an arm around my shoulders.
"We'll look into it for you okay, don't worry about it too much. As Dongmyeong said, it's possible it was just an accident"
I nodded and gave them a little smile, "Thank you guys!"
They nodded and Dongmyeong laughed a little,"I've gotta go now but I wish you all luck."
-(Y/N) POV-
As practice ended for SeoulHeart that night, Arrow came up to me and poked my arm until I paid attention to her. Turning around, she immediately jumped on the questions again.
Sighing, I called a storytime. With the girls around me, I told them the gist of what happened between yesterday and today, leaving out a lot of the "cute couple stuff" so that it didn't seem really weird to them, who didn't quite zap with him at first. They were obsessed with the story and I had to remind them multiple times to keep it on the down-low as we headed back to the dorms.
Once returning back to our rooms, I got a text from Dongju, asking me how my day had been. Smiling at the sweet boy, I texted back saying it was great and how was his day? His response was kind of negative, saying he was sad but okay. When asking him what was wrong, he ignored the question and started talking about something else entirely. Confused, I let the topic switch but planned to ask Dongmyeong later what was going on with his brother.
The next day was Friday, and the day for busking!
The morning was filled with practice, little time to interact with the RBW Boys and MAS. Then about 4:00, then the CEO texted me to meet him in the big conference room on the second floor with the SeoulHeart members. After finishing our most recent routine run through and grabbing our stuff, we headed up.
I entered first, in my black crop top and shorts outfit with chain accessories that I was going to wear to the busking performance that night. The others had similar outfits for the event, with little hints of their personal styles.

When I pushed the door open, I noticed the RBW Boyz already in the room, wearing casual practice clothes.
They had an event right after us, so I figured they were probably talking to the CEO about it. The CEO ushered us in and I glanced over at Youngjo. His eyes locked eyes with mine and the spark appeared for just a second, then disappeared again. I smiled and he returned it, averting his eyes quickly, as to not draw attention. I looked back toward the CEO and he addressed us all.
"Since both groups have events today, I expect you to behave. Watch each other's performances and give support." The groups nodded, listening. "But on the opposing side, be careful of your interactions with each other. We don't want fans giving me a stroke from a post when they find one of the girls and one of the boys interacting too much! Stick close but not too close."
The groups laughed casually, Arrow poking me in the back as if to make sure I heard. I squeezed her hand lightly to show I heard and scanned the row of boys across from us. Seemingly no reaction except for Dongju, who caught my eye and gave a half-hearted smile. I smiled back, sadly at his negative reaction, and focused on the CEO again.
"Can you take the guys and get ready to go?" the CEO asked, but got no response "...Youngjo, when you're done spacing out..."
Youngjo blushed as the CEO called out his name and the groups looked over at him. "Sorry," he started, but the CEO waved it off. Youngjo nodded and started to walk towards the doors, his little duckling members following him out.
"SeoulHeart," the CEO started as we turned back to him, "since your guys are opening the event, get the finishing touches done on makeup in the van, we have to go in a few minutes. And by the way," He stopped again, smiling, standing up and coming toward us, "keep the boys in check will ya?"
We laughed and I smiled at him, "We got this don't worry!"
The SeoulHeart girls hopped into one of the company's vans and headed off towards the busking location. I sat in the front section with Hyomi while Sohae and Arrow sat behind us, leaving Kimmie and Takara to rule the back. As we drove away from the building, Sohae poked me. "Oh my, you scared me." I said, jumping at her touch, "what's the matter?" She gave me a smirk as I turned around to look at her, still setting up our vlog camera for filming. "That guy that we met the other day, RAVN, you know how CEO called him out?"
I nodded, "yeah, apparently he was spacing out..." Sohae groaned, "you seriously believe that?"
I looked up, putting the camera down in my lap. "That's what the CEO said... Is that not what happened?"
She laughed, "of course not!" I cocked my head, confused. "He got caught checking you out!" she finished, bewildered that I hadn't noticed.
Now, as I mentioned before, Sohae is usually the one to play jokes on people so I was wary of this response. "Actually?" I asked, looking at the other member's reactions.
Kimmie spoke, "He actually was, she's not joking." Looking around, the other members nodded in agreement. Blushing, I turned back around and hid my face under my mask, smiling underneath it.
Hyomi patted my shoulder and seeing my smile when I looked over, cracked up, "Someone's got a crush!"
