When we arrived at the event, we saw MAS already there, setting up on the stage. There were only a few people random watching them set up, but I knew that it would be crowded very soon. We piled out of the van, masks on for a hidden identity, and went over to check out the area. The stage wasn't as big as I had expected, not big enough for my Ariel and back handspring, but it was enough for my cartwheel to split move if done from the right spot.
Takara came over to me and we started talking about the arrangements for our set of songs, visualizing the front and back of the stage compared to our practice setup. Getting so caught up in figuring out the stage, I didn't even notice Dongmyeong come up behind me. He leaned in to listen to me talk for a minute before taking my hand to get my attention. I tightened my grip to let him know I knew he was there and finished my statement, ending the conversation.
Turning to Dongmyeong, I gave him a hug and introduced him to Takara, who gave him a warm smile and asked him if he could introduce the other members to her. Then Hyomi came over too, interested in the members. This was a good thing, as most of the members of SeoulHeart didn't spend much time with either MAS or the RBW Boyz in the past. I was kind of a special case.
Takara walked off with Dongmyeong, followed by Hyomi and I headed back behind the stage where the other members were staying. When I arrived, Sohae told me that she and Arrow were going to get the mics from the van. I thanked them and went over to Kimmie, who was fixing her top, trying to get the straps tighter. I got one unstuck and started on the other before she spoke.
"Can you tell me who everyone is in the RBW Boyz? I wanna be confident and stuff but I don't even know their names." I hummed in agreement, "Sure! Pull up a picture online or something and I'll tell you before they even get here." Kimmie pulled out her phone and searched them up, only finding a low-quality picture from their last busking event. After finally getting the other strap tightened, I named the members over her shoulder for her.
When Sohae came back with Arrow and the mics, we pulled off our masks and I called Hyomi and Takara over from MAS's corner. MAS jogged over with them and they helped us out with our mics. Each one of the MAS members picked a girl and helped them out, obviously, except for me (because there's only five of them and six of us).
Cya ended up with Arrow, who gave me a shy smile and went on to tease Cya relentlessly about setting up her mic wrong way on his first try. As one of the staff members helped me tuck in the extra wire, I noticed another van pull up to the area. It stopped at the entrance and the door slid open revealing Leedo and Gunmin, who jumped out. They were followed by Dongju, Hwanwoong, Keonhee, and lastly, Youngjo.
They all had bright clothes on, contrasting to SeoulHeart's black ones. It was all variations of white and blue, which looked very good on all of them. Youngjo had an all-white shirt with ripped blue jeans, which highlighted his now chestnut brown hair and pale skin.
I was mesmerized for a second, not taking my eyes off of his well-built figure, until the staff behind me asked me to hold my ponytail up so she could tape the mic onto my neck.
