Thanks for reading!

Aaaand I finished another story. And I'm thankful towards the people, who kept reading, even though there were times where I didn't update for days and where I seemed dead. (See, even for this I took too much time.) But I always returned from the dead and updated this story until its very last chapter.

First of all, I want to thank all of you for reading and I hope it was pleasant to read, because I probably rushed at some parts. Or maybe I made some gramatical mistakes, since English isn't my first language.

Second of all, I want to thank space___bird and  Margaretfanfics for giving me some nice ideas and for helping me find the first names for Mr. and Mrs. Bentham, 'cause I suddenly decided to include them later in the story again and not only in the beginning.

And thanks to Cosmic (space___bird) for letting me use her thoughts on how Miss Bunting looks like (I really liked the idea of her having dark skin.) and that Balenciaga has this mysterious book, even though these were just small details, but they're important to me!

So, now to the content of this story.

I was unsure about in which time it should take place and that's one of the things I kind of regret not thinking about clearly. Because now, I think it would've been better if I set the story in the victorian era, since I think it is said that that's where Miss Peregrine actually comes from. (Correct me, if I am wrong. Cause I'm honestly not sure right now.) But yeah, for some reason I wanted to set the story in the 1920s and I regret it, haha.

While reading this story, you may have noticed that I didn't mention the Bentham siblings' exact age. I still want the readers to think that Alma is the youngest, Myron is in the middle and Jack is the oldest, but how old they were exactly is open to you! (Now I can also consider them being triplets, but oh well, maybe I will use that idea in other future fanfics.)

Another thing about age. Jack and Balenciaga are almost the same age, because Cosmic and I have this headcanon that they were in a relationship when they were young, so I really wanted to use that idea and hinted it in my last chapter, when Jack plays piano for her. But here's the thing--I also wanted to make Balenciaga have the same age as Alma, but then decided against it, since they can be friends anyways. (and I really wanted to use that idea with Jack and her.) But otherwise, they would be the same age in my head, to be honest.

Also, something I really can't forget to mention. The scene where they are at this market and they get that weird dust into their faces. That was young Mother Dust's dust and she was actually there with young Reynaldo, but I just forgot to write that for some dumb reason. I'm still mad at myself for forgetting about that, honestly. I really wanted them to interact with the siblings for a short moment.

Maryann and Ian never found their children, by the way. They still went to Derbyshire, just like that police officer told them, but they never found them, since the three were safe inside their loop.

August will VERY likely have a comeback in a future story, which I will start writing soon. (It's going to be a rewrite of "We're doomed", since I badly feel the need to rewrite it, because it just wasn't good enough for me :,) no, seriously. I gotta make it better.)

And here, have some drawings I made of the story and its characters!
