A novelized version of the game "Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness" FYI I might not get to work on it much over the summer. For more information read the intro in the book.
He rides over raging rivers, and over rocky plains eventually arriving at Dr. Kaminko's lab. There is no soul in sight, Michael wonders where his sister is. He goes over to the door and knocks, nobody answers, behind him someone yells, "Wait, who goes there. You must be a burglar, Chobin will take you out! I am the number one assistant of Dr. Kaminko, because I am the only assistant. DON'T YOU MOVE!!" He continues to reach down and grab his poke-ball, and out pops a Sunkern. "Chobin will take you out with his strongest Pokémon!!"

Michael throws out his only real pokemon, Eevee. Sunkern is to slow, so Eevee attacks first, "Use tackle!!" Eevee continues to do flips before launching itself into Chobin's Sunkern. "Sun..." "Sunkern hang in there!! Use absorb!!" Sunkern sucks out some of Eevee's energy, weakening Eevee and healing up itself a little. Just like Salamance in the simulation, Eevee already knows what Michael going to say, and continues to tackle the Sunkern, knocking it out. "No, Chobin lost!! Chobin won't let you take Dr. Kaminko's research still" He retracts the Sunkern from battle into its poke-ball. "Wait, from my observation you're a child, it looks like you're not a burglar." Then Jovi pops head head out of the lab, "Big brother!!" She steps out of the doorway. "What are you doing here? Wait! I get it, you're lost aren't you. Yep, there is no hiding things from Jovi because Jovi knows all. This big house is Dr. Kaminko's house, He makes amazing inventions for work! The are a whole lot of neat machines like at the Pokemon HQ lab."

"Your Jovi's older brother? She comes here quite often. She wanders around everywhere, it is a pain for Chobin to keep an eye on her so she doesn't bother the Doctor. Do you want to look at Dr. Kaminko's inventions? please!?" "Sure I will, for a little." "OK, follow me!" They walk in to Dr. Kaminko's lab. The first room they walk into has an entire wall that is covered in a giant machine. "Chobin will show you some of Dr. Kaminko's greatest inventions, let me show you the digital recording of my review of them. These inventions are the greatest in the world!" He click of a file on the giant computer, and the a video pops up. "This invention is know as the 'Unhealthy Sandals' the insole is covered with lumpy nubs that fail to stimulate and satisfy every pressure point on the surface of you feet in a satisfying way.Wearing these will guarantee painful feet and chronic worsening of your health. Chobin thinks this inventions is superlative.""This invention is incredible right? And there a many more inventions to come too! All of Dr. Kaminko's fantastic inventions can be seen on this monitor! I'll give you permission to view them anytime you want" Michael tries to hold back a chuckle, but he fails and a little laugh comes out. "It is amazing Chobin, (aside) amazingly hilarious." "It looks like your sister is bothering the Doctor. Would you be kind enough to go and stop her?" "Sure, where is his lab?" "To your left, though the door, he is trying to talk to someone right now, please stop Jovi." "OK." Michael walk around the corner and goes over to Jovi, "Hey Jovi, time to go no complaining." "You're going already? Jovi will come with you, you'll be scared." "(No I won't but as long as she comes with me)" Her Minun comes over, and climbs into her dress. "(OK, that's a weird place to keep a Pokemon)" "Jovi is ready, lets go!" "OK, let's go. Get on the Hover-Bike, mom is worried."
