Leon's POVI panted, it was almost like I was unsure of what was transpiring. I was not entirely sure how we thought this answer was right, after all, Lancer did agree to it. The issue is, it could be just another one of his lies...
"Well...I've chosen my answer," I whispered to myself as I glared down on the tablet. Tapping the arrows until it had selected Lancer, I chose him...
Tapping the green circle - the pad quickly shut into a black screen.
"Yes! Mister Lucario was taking a while!" Sam snickered as she glared above her.
The TV lowered down as a black screen was shown, the Braixen cackled.
"Well, let's see if you all got your answer correct!" Sam could be heard laughing in the distance as the TV blared in static...
I felt as if my heart was at ease as soon as I glared at the video. It was not a good one, however. I glared around as everyone else seemed relieved, except for two people. Both Lancer and Talus looked like they were about to faint at any second, they were brothers after all...
"Look Talus...I had to murder him...I wanted both of us to escape out of here alive," Lancer silently sobbed as he muttered statements to his brother. The other Lycanroc shook his head in denial.
"No...I can't believe it," Talus sobbed as he could only lock his glare onto his brother.
"Please Talus...just stop crying. I've accepted it by now, I'm going to die. I've been caught and...I have to pay for it..." Lancer replied as we were all in mixed emotions about the Pokemon.
"You...you started the killing game, Lancer. By trying to end it, you have only started it..." I heard those words mumble out of my own mouth. It was true, but I cannot believe I said it out loud.
"Y-Yeah..." I heard Sherwood agree in the distance as Inu began blurting out.
"You fucking idiot! How dare you!" The Infernape seemingly lost her cool and hopped out of her pedestal before being paused by a Psychic. I turned to Galant, who had seemingly used the move to stop Inu from leaving the pedestal completely.
"Galant, get me out of here right now!" Inu spat out as Sam began snickering.
"Good job, Gallade boy, one more inch and I would have cut her throat! Oh well, too bad...cause I'll be able to cut someone else's throat tonight anyways!" Her glare locked directly on the sobbing Midnight Lycanroc. I felt horrible. He was never the nicest person but, he didn't deserve to be killed.
"Please...make it...quick..." I heard Lancer barely breath out as the Braixen cackled.
"Alright! It's the time you all have been waiting for! It's...punishment time!"

It was completely silent, and Sam was gone. Lancer looked like the one who had the most anxiety, but as soon as I noticed his expression, the sound of white noise from the TV was heard. We all turned to glare at the TV, and a soon as we did...
Seemingly a video of Lancer was replaying on the screen...wait...what?
Unexpectedly, we all turned to Lancer, and then the TV...it was live - and recording!
"Wh-wha..." I heard Lancer grunt, before the sound of scraping metal reverberated through our ears. It was only a second, a very important second. All I could conceive was a large metal chain, dropping down at extreme speeds - and before we knew it...
