" Honey come downstairs!" my mom shouts. " I'm coming!" I quickly check to make sure I got everything I need for the fall semester in my backpack and rush down the stairs to eat breakfast.
" You think by now you would get your life together?" my brother Colt remarks at the dinner table while eating his breakfast.
" Ha never. You're only starting high school tomorrow anyway," I snap back at him.
" Can two stop already. " Our mom tells us when she walks with my breakfast in hand.
" He started it." I tell my mom.
" Krystal you are 20 years old. Stop playing the blame game on your brother."
Colt turns to me and makes a stupid face and I do the same thing. My mom just shakes her head and sips her coffee at the table. I finish my breakfast and return upstairs to my room to get my phone. Apparently, I always forget one thing especially if its is important. I come back down to grab my keys and backpack. I kiss my mom goodbye on her cheek and start to head out to my car.
I'm glad I decided to do my classes a little later today. Spring of last semester was awful. I had my classes early in morning to where I do not even understand how I even passed those classes. Hopefully, this semester goes smoothly at Westbrook University.

With already two classes down, I have a break on schedule so I can chill out for an hour. Luckily for me, I get to hang out with my friends Alex and Mia too.
" Hey Krys"
" Hey Alex, What's up?"
" Nothing just got out of my two hour biology lab. Shit fucking sucks."
I roll my eyes and gave and airy giggle at his remark. "Why did you take it then?"
" To talk to that chick I told you about in the summer remember?"
" Well someone is love struck," a familiar voice ceases our conversation.
" Hey Mia."
" You two already gossiping without me?"
" Sadly, yea, " I tell her.
Mia sits down and we start chatting away how returning for the fall semester is going for us. We talked about our new professors and which classes we hate while pocking fun at Alex about his new crush.
" Guys stop, I mean she is really pretty and all."
" Did she already lived here when you met her?" Mia asks Alex.
" Well she told me she did but she left and came back this summer."
"Oh well that's cool, what's her name?" I ask.
"Isabella."
My stomach just sank for some unknown reason. The name burns in my soul. I remember befriending a girl named Isabella once and I never saw her again. I could not be the one Alex is talking about.
" Hey Krys, you okay?" Mia asks me. I guess I zoned out.
" Oh, yea I'm fine I just zoned all of a sudden," trying to brush it off.
" Okay you got us scared for a second," Mia brushing it off too.
" Yea.. well I hope you guys can meet her." Alex tries to lighten up the mood.
" That is if you can get to first base," I tell him with Mia and I laughing.
With all the laughing I saw from the corner of my eye someone sitting across from us from a few feet away. I took a moment to stop for a second to see a girl with long jet black hair and hazel eyes. No it can't be. I take another look and the girl was gone. I feel a hand on my shoulder and I turn around to see Alex standing up telling me it was already time to go to class.
"Did she really forget what happened that night?"
