No way it can be her. She left like years ago. If she did return however, I will shut her out of my life and never let my doors open around her again. I just wish I could get her out of my head along with all the old feelings coming with it. The feelings she would not understand.
"Krystal Evans," my math professor calls out my name snapping me out of my thoughts for a moment.
"Here," I shyly reply.
"Hey, you have been out of it since we had our little break, is everything okay?" Alex whispers.
"Yea...everything is cool..just a little tired," No, I feel anxious and want it to stop.
" Okay, well just so you know I'm here for you."
" Thanks Alex," giving him a weak smile. We just returned to try and focus in class with the professor just talking about the syllabus just like every class this past day.

I return home and when I enter through the door I hear my mom laughing with a familiar sound laughing with her in the living room . David. David is my mom's boyfriend for about 4 years now and he makes my mom and our family happy. I'm glad my mom found happiness because I have not seen her this happy in a long time.
" Um..hey," I interrupt them shyly.
"Hi Honey, how was your first day back?" my mom asks.
"Good, just same as always. Nothing exciting."
" I feel like you should be excited, aren't you going to tryout for volleyball again this year for school?" David wonders.
Oh yea. I made the volleyball team last year and piled up along with my early classes. I could try to do it again this year.
" What are you doing here David? Should you be out of town for one more week?"
"Yea but something happened with plans and schedules so I immediately came home because I actually have some news for you and your brother."
My mom calls for Colt to come downstairs from his room and into the living room. All of us sit on the couch except for David who stood up looking at us.
"Well you two, your mom and I have finally decided to move all of us together into a new home!" My mom turns to us, her eyes sparkling like diamonds along with hope.
"Finally after all these years?" I question them hoping to get my joke.
"Honey you know we didn't have time," my mom tells me.
"Mom I'm kidding," smiling at her.
"Well that was a cringy ass joke," Colt remarks.
" Shut up, ColTON," making the last part of his name harsh. I do that sometimes just to annoy him. Luckily, Colt actually shuts his mouth and grumbling, muttering to himself.
" I know it took us a long time to finally move in together but, with my job things become difficult at times."
" So where are we moving to anyway?" Colt asks David.
" We are moving by Krystal's college. Those nice big rich houses."
Colt look excited and I felt excited too but, maybe not the same way that Colt maybe thinking. I can finally leave certain things behind in this house I grew up in and the multiple memories. It would become refreshing.
" Its gonna take almost a month to move in fully so you two have time," David implies.
" So wait, you didn't actually bought the house yet?" I say in confusion.
" Kind of yea, we don't actually have the keys yet but we are getting them tomorrow."
I felt a slight feeling of disappointment but, it annoys me sometimes when he pulls that type of shit. Like make a big news about something but, oh wait, I didn't actually do it yet.
After talking about the house and everything, my brother and I went back upstairs to chill out and wait for my mom to cook us all dinner tonight. While waiting in my room, I lay in my bed going through my phone and I see a notification. A text from Alex. I open my messages a read:
"Hey Krys, You wanna go to a college party this weekend?"
I groaned internally and externally when reading the text. I do not like partying. I mean my friends say it brings them to forget reality and forget the problems in their lives. It questions me sometimes because pain will never go away no matter how hard someone tries. I text Alex back.
" Alex, you know I don't like parties."
He quickly texts back and replied,
"Krys, I just wanna take you to see the girl again. You don't have to stay for long, I just want you to and Mia to meet her."
I really didn't want to go but something in me tells me that I should go. I'm curious about the girl from today. I need to know who she is and this will be a perfect opportunity to find her.
"Alright I'll go." I text back.
" Awesome! I'll text you guys on the weekend to tell you what time."
I didn't text Alex back. I just lay in my bed taking in of what I have just done. I can't believe I'm doing this. I'm going to a party just to find some girl I have not talked to since she left. This feeling of nervousness and anxiety starts to grow in me. Suddenly, my mom calls my brother and I downstairs to eat. The rest of this week will be hell.
