MARK LEE

mark was a simple child. He was supposed to be happy, because he deserved it. But his parents never gave it to him. He never experienced laughing inside his house, and if he did they would lock him in the basement.

Nothing but darkness, and the cold air. He felt hungry all the time. He never felt like they were his parents. He felt like they were the only ones who gave birth to him and tortured him.

They did that even when he was little. He can't speak loudly in their house, or they'll lock him again.

If he came home late after school, they'll lock him. He can't have friends over. He even can't have friends. He once had a friend. But his parents found out and locked him for days which made him lose his consciousness and his friend. Afraid that mark would tell all their doings to someone. Or worse, the police.

But when he lost his consciousness, they never brought him to the hospital, but instead they just let him stay in his room and didn't even give him any medicine.

They never gave him a phone. They never let him watch television. And they always locked him in the basement.

His childhood was the worst. He didn't feel the feeling of playing outside in the sun with his friends. He never experienced to have a lot of friends. He never experienced to be happy. Sadness and darkness was always around him.

If he fought back, his parents were probably going to kill him or force him to leave the house.

Mark never cried because if he did, he'll get punished for it. When they eat, they never talk, nor look at each other. They just focus on the food, which made mark loses his appetite.

Mark is definitely intelligent. But in times like this, he loses it. He's intelligent because his parents forced him to have the highest grades in his classes. Which he politely obeyed. He would study and study, couldn't care less even if his stomach is screaming for food.

He'd been like that for 17 years.

Until he met renjun.

There was one night that mark couldn't take the pain they're giving him anymore, so he fought back. He screamed at their faces, "why can't you treat me as your child like every other parents does?! If you're going to let me live like this, then you shouldn't have gave birth to me! Nor raise me!" He screamed and screamed and screamed.

His parents' eyes widened and got very mad.

"Get out of my household." They both said.

Mark couldn't believe what they just said. He doesn't have any friends. Where would he stay? Its cold outside.

No matter how mark begged to let him stay in and apologize, they don't care anymore.

He was walking outside, not knowing where to go. It was very cold and he was hungry and thirsty. He doesn't know where to go, especially since it was night.

He started crying. It's his first time crying for for years. Finally he could let it all out. When he was locked in the basement, he couldn't cry because he wasn't allowed to. His parents would hear everything he does.

So he sobbed and sobbed. His feet brought him nowhere. Until he stopped in a park, curled his feet and hid himself in his feet.

Until one guy was walking in the park, kicking some stones, feeling annoyed, saw a weeping mark.

Its was a boy named huang renjun.
