Hell Above. Jump out of bed. Eat. Hair. Bag. Walk. Another exciting day of school.

Correction, half day of school. I wonder if Theo would want to watch a movie.. Nah. If he wants to hang out, he'll come to me. He probably has plans with his friends or wrestling practice.

"Hey, do you have your schedule for second trimester? It starts next week." Theo sat across from me at lunch.

"I'll pull it up on my phone."

"Oh, crap!" Theo checked his watch. "I forgot I have lunch reservations! We gotta go Cal!" He grabbed his tray.

To hell with it, we leave after lunch anyways. I run after him, grabbing my bag and dumping my tray. I see the gym teacher do a double take and I smirk. I run out of school and yell, "Come on! Race me!" and he shoots off like a bottle rocket towards his truck.

"Holy- shit- " I panted. "How-"

"I was in Track last year, and I run in the mornings." He starts his car, barely breathing harder than usual.

"Huh-" I breathe in and out for a minute while he drives us.. I don't know where. "Hey. I didn't, um, you didn't say anything about going out-"

"Didn't I?" He looks at me and chuckles. "I could have sworn I told you specifically what time and day. You just aren't a good listener, that's what it is. Here's what's gonna happen. I'm gonna take you to our reservation, we're gonna go to a comedy show in Lincoln and then we're going to watch movies. Now, don't ask what movies, because I've already picked some out. And if you don't like them then you're severely missing out." He looks at me. I could swear he looked at my lips. I looked at his; he was licking them. "Also, you get to meet my parents and Mae. But don't sweat it, you'll be fine. They're making supper while we watch movies in my room."

I look at him, widen my eyes, and then squint them. "Is this something you do with all of your new friends?"

I heard him mumble something, but it was impossible to understand.

"Hmm?" I raise my eyebrows at him.

"I was hoping.. No, it's stupid, forget it. Are you ready?" He pulls into the restaurant's parking lot.

"No."

"Why? What's wrong?" He instantly looks concerned.

"I'm not leaving until you tell me what you were going to say." I decide.

He sighs and unbuckles. "So I'm not the only stubborn one in this car, am I."

"Nope." I run my hand through my ponytail. My hair is getting long.

"Your hair looks nice." He says. "And so do your eyes. Will you teach me how to do eyeliner? I want to make my eyes look as beautiful as yours." He winks at me and I have the sudden urge to kiss him.

"Would you come here, just for a second?" I unbuckle myself. He climbs over and I take his face and put it in my hands and I kiss him. I kiss him and tug at the back of his shirt. I feel him pull away and I stare at his lips, wanting more.

"We're gonna lose our table, Cal. Let's go sit down." He grins.

"Don't think I forgot about what you were going to say before. I will know." I say as Theo and I are waiting for the comedy show to start.

He leans over and his lips grace my neck. Great, I have goosebumps now. In a low whisper, he offers to go get a drink or some popcorn.

"Can I get a Coke and some popcorn?" I ask. smiling. "Thanks, here's two doll- ".
