Today I finished my report on The Crystal Empire. I asked Celestia if I could have extra time, as I have got a babysitting job and am extending the task a LOT. I'm not gonna copy down everything into you, diary. I'll just vaguely write down my favourite part:
The fall of The Crystal Empire Over 1000 years ago, a power hungry unicorn king took over the Empire, ingulfing it in darkness. He had enslaved his whole kingdom of crystal ponies, and forced them to carry out his deeds. But the two alicorn sisters weren't having any of that. As the Equestrian guardians, they knew it was their domain to defeat King Sombra and put an end to his reign of terror. Soon, they had prepared for their battle and had arrived at the corrupt city. After a long and draining battle, the two had managed to banish the evil king into the frozen north, but not before he was able to put a curse on the Empire, making it disappear for 1000 years.
So, what do you think of that? When I handed the assignment in, I watched as Celestia read it. She seemed to be holding back tears or something, and just muttered, "Wonderful work, Cadenza." I wonder why she's so down about it. Oh wait! I remember her telling me about her younger sister, Luna, who she had to banish to the moon, and I had mentioned her. I hope Luna returns soon.
