I did not get much sleep. It was a long night. At 2:00 Sophia was crying. I asked what's wrong, but she didn't answer. Then at 4:00, Tommy was playing video games IN MY ROOM! I told him to get out, and if he really wanted to play video games, to play downstairs. Not a smart decision on my plate, but he actually went to bed at 7:00.
I woke up at 8 am and made myself some coffee. Tommy was still playing video games, and Sophia was still sleeping. I made toast for Tommy, and I just had coffee.
Tommy had a play date with his friend John at 11:00 so he got ready. When Sophia got up again, I tried to talk to her about what she was crying about, but she still wouldn't answer.
At 1:00 I brought Sophia to soccer practice. After that I picked up Tommy from John's, and we had lunch. Then picked Sophia after soccer practice at 3:00. Sophia barely talked to me for the whole day. I wondered what was going on. When we got home, Sophia and Tommy started to pack for their vacation to Waterfront Waterpark.
I was in the kitchen, I started to start on dinner. I went to the utensils drawer, when all of the sudden, there was a lot of money in the drawer. 1 dollar bills. 5 dollar bills. 10 dollar bills. 20 dollar bills. Even 100 dollar bills. So much money! I was confused. Me being a dentist does not get me that much money. Not even Blake's job! Speaking of Blake, I should call him. To question the money, and to see how's he doing. I go grab my phone on the counter. I dial his number, and call him.
I call him the first time. No answer.
Second time, no answer.
Third time, no answer.
Fourth time, no answer.
I figured he was busy with work. Or was he?
