"Don't sound too disappointed" [CHAPTER 6]

CHAPTER 6

“For fck’s sake” Mr Elijah said out of breath, as he stopped what he was doing and then reached for my phone in his pocket. He looked at the caller name.

“It’s your mother” he said as he placed my phone on my hand.

I took it from him and then pressed “Accept”

“Hey mom” I said as I tried not to sound out of breath.

“Where are you now?”

“I’m still in college.”

“How come?”

“Did you forget? Yano I have that tutoring every Friday after college”

“Ahh, okay. Your teacher didn’t tell me, I got worried.”

“Do you want to speak to him?” I asked her as I looked at Mr. Elijah. I was still sat on him. He massaged my butt as he shook his head no. I just smiled at him.

“No it’s fine. I believe you.” She said.

“Okay. We’re gonna finish soon”

“Okay, I’ll see you home then, bye”

“Bye…” I said as I hanged up the phone.

“I guess we’ll have to continue this some other time.” He said as he leaned back on the chair.

I have to admit, hearing that made me disappointed.

“Uhh.. yeah I guess so.” I said as I slowly got off him and then stood up straight. I then started to pack my bag.

I heard him stood up and then quietly chuckled.

“Don’t sound too disappointed. We’ll definitely continue this.” He said. I quickly turn around to defend myself.

“No.. sir, I’m not dis..” I started to say but even before I could finish my sentence he smiled at me and then messed up my hair.

“Don’t worry, I’m probably more disappointed than you.” He said.

Okay, that made me feel better. I just don’t want to sound too needy.

After about 5 minutes we headed for the car park. I wanted to hold his hand but that would totally make it seem like I’m needy. So I tried my best to resist my urges.

As we reached his car, he unlocked the car and then opened my door.

“Thank you.” I said as I smiled at him.

“No problem.” He said as he smiled back at me.
