Ignorant to the world around them
Ignorant to how their people suffer
And ignorant to the agenda of who they follow
It's really people out here
Who walk in the footsteps of the oppressor
Who put down their community like the fork they use to eat off the hand of their mother
Who they used the mans legal power to control
Who stigmatize their people as thugs
And not listen to the injustice happening to oppress them
It's really people out here with skin as dark as the inside of closed eyelids
Siding with bigoted cream wall skinned anomalies
About laws that pin their people 6 feet under the soil in which they helped create
It's really people out here who came crying out of Queens
Trying to control the very body they fed from until they could apply for a job
Or even write their own name
It's really people out here who are blind to the babies at the border who can barely speak
Who can barely walk
Fighting for their own lives being trialed as the adults they're taken away from
It's really people out here blindfolded by controlled media
Ignorant to the colorful humans being worked and whipped and slaved for no reward
In another world.
