" Nicole? What is this?"
I look up to see a sleepy Roman rubbing his eyes lids, as he makes his way towards me in his pajamas pants. " I am making you lunch silly. It's already one." He leans in for a kiss, and I kiss him back with pleasure.
" Nicole that's sweet, but I wanna check on you. Before everything went down you were my main focus, and you still our." He grabs me and sits me in his lap. " So the question is how are you?"
" I'm great." I say hopping off his laugh, and start to cut the lemons again." Now, what type of sauce do you want with your pasta?"
He doesn't answer, but only wraps his arms around me, and resting his chin on my head. " Nikki, please don't lie."
I continue to chop the lemons, but this time with the truth." Roman your family just got in a life-threatening accident and the car is totaled and you're worried about me?"
" Nicole, it's not life threatening. The twins are fine. Jojo has a few scraps and scratches on her arms and Galina arms is broken. The thing is they will live. But the other thing is I can't live if your heart is broken, especially if if I broke it. So do you regret ending things with John?"
" No, Roman. John didn't want to get married he didn't want to have children. But you do, and I love the idea of us starting our lives together."
" Okay." He then starts to look around. " But one more question, where did you get this food from?"
" I order it, when I got here last night."
" Well, in that case when we finish eating this wonderful meal, we can go grocery shopping."
" Perfect." I say before kissing him his cheek."
