It was just an everyday kind of day. I was on the subway reading my favourite book series and listening to my favourite band. I was doing what I do everyday, just taking some time away from my house for some peace and quiet. I thought that I was too bad for good things to happen to me. That karma would eventually catch up to me, I never excpected much from life, I just wanted to finish high school, get any job and just live my life. Not necessarily to the fullest, but just live. And that was when she walked on. A girl that looked so gorgeous I couldn't take my eyes off of her, and of course she sat right next to me, even though there was a bunch of other seats. She was wearing a Nirvana T-shirt, which yeah, I guess was a bonus. Normally that would bother me but for some reason it didn't. I tried to glance a smile at her but I don't think she noticed. So, I just continued on my book and taking quick glances at her. I felt happy, which is a first for me, even though I didn't know her, I honestly felt out of this world, that was until the gunshots.
