Liam's pov
"We have a spy in the mist of the rogues. Dom isn't treated badly. The rogue leaders have adopted him as their own." I pause 'cause of the pack's growling. David whimpers next to me. Wrapping him in my arms, I continue.
"There are over 50 rogues, so the surrounding packs have agreed to help in overpowering them." I pause. "The plan is to surround the rogue base, the spy will give the signal when he has Dom. When he's safely out of harms way, we attack. Simple."
A pack member raises his hand. Nodding my head he ask. "Why do you think they adopted the future alpha?"
"I'm guessing the reason being is that since I killed their son, they want to take away mine." I respond. He nods his head before disappearing into the crowd.
"If that is all, please head to the backyard so we can prepare to attack." The crowd begins to go outside. I pull David tightly to me, kissing his forehead.
"I'll get our son back love." I whisper in his hair.
He pulls back a little. "I know." Looking me in the eyes.
"I love you."
"As I love you." He snuggles into my chest.
We are quiet. Letting the silence speak for his. I feel my shirt begin to wet. Knowing he's crying I tighten my arms.
"Please be careful." His voice is muffled by my shirt.
"I'll come back for you, with our son." I whisper in his ear. "Come on."
I pick him up, carrying him to the back yard. The fighters are saying goodbye to their families. Sobbing is heard throughout the yard. Mates and children not wanting there loved ones to fight but they know they have too.
I walk to the front of the group. "Attention!" I gain their attention.
"All the ones that are not fighting please go inside. Guards will be posted all over the house. Fighters get ready!" I order. They do as I say.
Turning to David I kiss him. I kiss him with everything in me. I put everything in the kiss. My fear, my pain, my love. Pulling away I look at him.
"I love you." He whispers to me.
"As I love you." I repeat his line he said earlier. He smiles at me before peckimg my lips. The nonfighters being to leave, leaving just David.
He takes a step then another before looking back at me. "Go on baby." I urge him. He continues his way into the house. When the doors are closed I turn to the determined fighterd.
"Today we end this. Not for me your alpha but for yourselves. To keep your families out of harms way. This is the day we end this!" I yell at the end. I turn and shift along with the others.
I'm doing this for my son, my mate, my pack, myself. My plan will work. I will het my son out to safety. I'll being him home for my mate and I. I'll being Dom home to safety, to the pack, to his family most importantly to his father.
