Liam's P.O.V

I made my mate cry. My beautiful little pregnant mate cries because of me. How selfish am I? I'm trying to keep him stress free, and I'm the one causing him stress. I'm a bad mate.

"Tell him Darling." my mother tells me with her hand on my shoulder. I nod my head, then walk up the stairs to our room. As I get there I hear my mate's cries. I open the door and take him into my arms. At first he tries to pull away, but I don't let him. He tries to struggle, but stops after he realizes that I won't let him go.

"What do you want?" he sniffles.

"I realized that I'm wrong and you're right." I must of said the right thing because he stops crying and looks at me.

His cheeks are red and puffy, along with his eyes, but he's never looked more beautiful. No matter what state he's in, he'll always be beautiful.

"So you'll tell me?" he looks at me with big eyes.

"Yes." I kiss his nose.

He straddles my lap, his bump pushed gently against my stomach. I put my hand on the bump, and wrap the other on his hip.

David's P.O.V

"The reason we are training is because of Jacob's parents." he explains.

"Why would Jacob's parents have to do with anything." I ask in confusion.

"Jacob was a rogue, not just any rogue the Alpha rogue's son. He must of disguised his scent to human." Liam tells me.

"So the Alpha rogue and Luna are after the pack!" I say hyperventilating. "It's all my fault!"

He grabs my face in his hands. "Love breathe, breathe baby!" His touch and voice calms me.

"I'm sorry!" I start crying again pulling my head in his neck.

"It's not your fault love." Liam rubs my back soothing me.

"Yes it is!" I wail in his neck I wrapped my arms around his chest.

"How in the world is it your fault?" he ask me in my hair.

"Because... I.. I got their.. Their son killed." I cry between hiccups.

"No Jacob got himself killed. Love it's a good thing that the Alpha rogue wants to attack. We have packs that they killed their members. Packs want revenge." he kisses my forehead after pulling it from his neck. He wipes my eyes, kisses my lips, then my baby bump.

"Come on let's go back to the kitchen." he guides me to the kitchen, carrying me down the stairs. We walk into the kitchen, I couldn't look anyone in the face.

I feel tears come to my eyes as I look at everyone, and they look back. "I'm sorry."

"Sweetie don't be, it's not your fault, the rogues had it coming anyway." the pack agrees with what Melissa said.

"Now don't you stress, that's not good for you or the baby." Liam tells me with a stern look. I nod my head.

Even though they say it's not my fault, I still feel like it is. No matter how many times they tell me, it'll always be my fault.
