David's pov
I chew on my bottom lip, waiting for the spy to come home with Dom. I look around the room. The woman and the male mates are chewing on their nails and crying.
I feel terrible. Not knowing if my son and mate will come back to me. I chew on my bottom lip, scared and nervous.
A person sits next to me, I see Liam's mom. She wraps her arms around me. "They'll come back to you love."
"I know, but that doen't keep me from worrying." I put my head on her shoulder. She kisses my forehead. She's been my mother since. I've been here. I'm glad she's the way she is. I don't Know what I'll do without her.
"Thank you." I kiss her cheek. "For being here for me."
"Sweetie you don't have thank me." She hugs me tighter.
We sit in silence. Waiting for our mates to get back with my son. For about two hours we wait. Anxiety feels me. The need for my son, mate, and pack to be beside me never goes away.
The door opens slowly. Standing, I run over to the door. A man is standing there holding my crying son. Tears run down my face, as I grab him. Wrapping my arms around him, I hold him to my chest.
"Thank you!" I cry holding my baby thanking the man. My son starts to cry along with me.
The ladies and male mates surrounds me. I sit down with the mates around me. I sob holding my son to my chest.
I don't know how long I'm a sobbing mess before the doors open again. The next second I'm wrapped in arms. Knowing it's my mate, I sob harder.
"You're home now Dom." Liam whispers. I snuggle into his chest.
"Thank you!" I look up at Liam.
He kisses my forehead. "You never have to thank me love."
"Now let's go see if our son is healthy." Liam wraps me and Dom in his arms, before guiding us to the infirmary. The doctor is tending to some packmates. A nurse sees us and hurries over.
"Alpha, Luna. How may I help you?" She eyes Liam. I want to punch her in the face, but I can't since I'm holding Dom.
"Yes Dom needs to be looked over." He smiles down at Dom.
"Of course, when the doctor is done he will see to Dom." She smiles at Liam. I bite my tongue. I turn my head not wanting to look at the slut. Can't she see he has a mate and a child?
She just screams slut. Her clothes are short showing her 'goods.' It's disgusting. Oh how I want to rip out her hair. But since I'm the Luna, I can't.
The doc sees us and walks over to us. "Alpha and Luna my apprentice Asha will look over Dom."
As he said that, a woman walks out of the back room. She has black hair, short, and wears glasses. She's adorable!
"Hello Alpha and Luna. I'll check Dom for you." She holds out her arms. "My I take him."
Feeling that she won't hurt him, I hand him to her. "You have an adorable son."
I smile at her. "Thank you."
I walk beside her. "Don't mind the slut. She does that to any high ranking member. She even tries it on my mate."
I could hear the hate in her voice, I giggle. "She screams slut." I pause. "Whose your mate, if you don't mind me asking?"
She smiles lovingly. "Johnathon, the pack warrior." She sets Dom on an examination table and does the doctor things.
"He's all fine." She hands my baby back to me. I take him in my arms. Dom looks up at me with his beautiful eyes. Gosh I love him
Rising my head, I look back to Asha. "Thank you."
"No problem Luna." She smiles.
"Oh please! Call me David. We should get to together sometime." Shock crosses her face.
"Of course Lu. I mean David. I would love too." Asha stutters out. Liam walks up beside me.
"I see you met Asha, the mate of our pack warrior." Liam looks down at me.
"Yes. I like her. We should get together sometime." I look up at his tall form.
"We should." He kisses my cheek, before turning back to Asha. "Thank you Asha, we'll see you soon."
Liam wraps his arm around me, before leading me out of the infirmary. "Let's spend some time with our boy."
