The sun shone brightly through the curtains of my room and woke me up. I quickly opened my laptop and put on my headset and started my regular day of endless gaming.
I am Mia, a girl just like the others. My favourite game is Roblox and I play it everyday. Although my mom always told me to stop being soo addicted to gaming, I won't listen. What could happen if I play too much? Probably I'll be short-sighted or what. But what else would happen?
"Hey Chris! Wanna join me in another game? Maybe Phantom Forces? Okay, I am in the game, join me. We'll team up and head over there..." I skilfully moved around the arena in Phantom Forces as Chris fought along with me. "Cover me! Okay let's move over there and take shelter. I know there's a guy sheltering here in that room. Let's shoot him and get some kills maybe." I shouted into the headset as I looked at the laptop screen.
Suddenly, 'No connection' filled the screen. "Damn it! All my records will be deleted in this round... Mom! Did you turn off the WiFi?" There's no answer after I called out.
"System overload!! System overload!!!" The laptop kept on repeating the sentence in a robotic voice.
"What's going on?" I panicked as I repeatedly pressed the button 'ESC' for a lot of times. Still, it didn't work. The computer screen was all blue and a ray of laser shone out from the screen and on to me.
"Teleporting user MiaPlaysRobloxXO..." I was sucked into the screen!
"Teleportation success! Welcome to Roblox, Mia..."
