Two Months (DISCONTINUED)

Part 1

"I can't do this!" I yelled when I hit the wrong key on my piano.

"I know" my brother smirked.

"Ethan you're my brother, you're meant to help me not make fun of me for god sake"

"I know but it's funny watching you stress over something as stupid like this" he chuckled to himself.

"This is important you twat! If I don't nail this song I can kiss college goodbye... and your stuck with me for the rest of your life."

"ugh fine I'll help, ONLY because I don't want you to not go to college. I cant deal with your annoying ass any longer" he groaned as he got up from my bed and over to where I was sitting at my p­­iano on the opposite side of the room.

"Thanks big bro" I smiled at him.

"Just shut up and let me help you learn this song" he playfully pushed my shoulder.

If you couldn't already figure it out, Ethan is my big brother. He was 1 year older than me but he acted like he was 10 years older than me. As annoying as he is acting like my dad, I was grateful he did because otherwise I would be in a lot of shit a lot of the time.

Just as we were halfway through my song, my mum walked in my bedroom with a sad look on her face.

"Um hi mum?" Ethan said sounding like more of a question

"Kids, I'm going to get straight to the point," she said sternly

"And what might that point be?" I asked sassily, being the sassy bitch I am.

She took a deep breath. "I have to leave for work again," she said sadly, "and it will be for 2 months this time"

"Two months?!" my brother and I said in unison.

"Mum you can't leave Lana here by herself for two months! God knows what will happen!" my brother screeched as I gave him a side small glare.

"He's right mum, as much as it would be fun to live here by myself I still need someone otherwise I will be lonely. You being gone for a week is bad enough but two whole months?!" I explained sadly.

"I understand that. That is why I was hoping you would stay here, Ethan" she turned to my brother.

"Mum as much as I want to make sure my sister is safe, I have college and it take 40 minutes to drive from here to campus" my brother explained

"ok I understand, lana do you have any friends houses you could stay at?" my mom asked

"I have Elecktra but her parents would never let me stay there for two months," I explained "Don't you have anyone who can stay here with me? How about Liz? I love liz"

"unfortunately liz is coming with me, but maybe I could ask if one of her boys will look after you?"

"Ma as much as I love liz, I don't ever talk to her kids. I barely know their names"

"Lana you either stay in this house by yourself for two months or with one of her sons now which is it?" she started to get annoyed with me, nothing new

"Fine but I need to meet them all first before I let them stay in our house" I insisted

"Of course I'm not delusional"

My mum turned her heal and went to walk out of my room but before she could my brother asked a very odd question,

"Wait ma, how old are her kids?"

"Um I think they are all around 20, I don't know their specific ages actually. I will let you know what liz says" and with that she walked out of the room and closed the door behind her.
