Chapter 5: Revelations

Nagato and Konan escaped with their son, hiding in Amekagure. A week had passed by after they left Konohakagure.

They moved into Nagato's old house which was owned by his dead parents. Nagato spoke "Naru-chan, Let's start your training." Naruto with stars in his eyes nodded and followed his father.

Nagato showed some hand signs and exclaimed

"Mizu Bunshin No Jutsu!"

Four water clones of Nagato appeared, Naruto screamed in awe and then flickered through the same hand signs and exclaimed

"Mizu Bunshin No Jutsu!"

Three Naruto clones appeared and shouted "RAMEN!" Nagato chuckled and ruffled Naruto's head.

Nagato then spoke "Naruto, now a genin level water jutsu." Nagato performed the jutsu and said "Now you try!"

After ten minutes Naruto got it down. Naruto signaled his father which in return threw shurikens at him.

"Mizu Tate No Jutsu!"

A shield of water deflected the shurikens and protected the knucklehead. "Very nice, Naru-chan. Now have some snacks and water." Naruto smiled at his mother and ate the sandwich she gave him. Naruto pouted at his glass and spoke "Kaa-chan, why don't I have ice like Tou-chan?" Konan chuckled and spoke "You might get a sore throat, Naru."

Naruto pouted and thought 'Wish I had ice like Tou-chan...' He looked at his glance, it then slowly froze into ice and then burst. Naruto yelped and ducked, the explosion shocked Konan and Nagato. Konan exclaimed "You have Ice release, Naru-chan!"

Naruto was surprised; Nagato said "I'll teach you. I have the rinnegan which allows me to have all releases." Naruto nodded.

After two hours Naruto got it down, Nagato got a mud wall up and Naruto shouted

"Koorikoku!"

Many carvings of Ice Kunai were shot at Nagato who deflected it easily by the wall but at the last kunai , the wall broke into chunks.

Nagato signaled Naruto and said "Ready?" Naruto nodded.

"Fire Style: Fire ball!"

Naruto saw the massive fire ball coming at him and exclaimed

"Hyougai No Jutsu!"

A coat of Ice armor covered him stopping the fire ball but melting the armor. Nagato smiled at Naruto, his son had grown up very fast and had lots of things down.

Naruto then heard a creak and then saw where Konan stood; the massive old tree was going to fall down on top of her. He shouted "KAA-CHAN!" With a sudden massive wave of chakra from Naruto, as the tree was about to fall, a massive root came out of the ground, holding it in place, Konan exclaimed in pain as her elbow started bleeding profusely.

Naruto looked down at the injury and slowly said

"K-Koori Chiyu No Jutsu."

The jutsu stopped the blood flow but the injury was still there, Nagato pushed Naruto aside as green aura came out of his hand fixing Konan's injury for good.

Konan smiled at Naruto and spoke "Another surprise from you Naru-chan! You have Mokuton!" Naruto shouted "I protected you! No way!" He did a dance but then stopped and asked "What's Mokuton?"

Nagato chuckled and said "The First Hokage, only had this ability and he was a Senju." Naruto was confused and spoke "We're Uzumaki!" This time Konan chuckled and continued "Naruto, Uzumaki's are distant relatives of Senju. So, maybe the wood release of the first hokage has been passed down to you." Naruto was excited.
