The Akatsuki's Heir

Chapter 8: It Begins...

A year passed and Naruto became eight years of age. Tobi and Fugaku's plans were coming into reality.

Hearing Tobi's word repeating in his head "I want Nagato to be Ame's kage and Konan your advisor, if not you know what will happen." Nagato shook his head and muttered "It's time for it to begin." To Konan who was listening to him intently.

Thunder of the sky replied to Nagato's answer instead of Konan. They heard a single drop and then massive rainfall of 71cm came falling down. Nagato snapped his finger and then the six paths of Pein appeared from the shadows with Naruto beside them.

Nagato gave genuine smile; Naruto had grown up and understood everything going on.

Pein spoke up "Nagato-sama, we are all one. But isn't Naru-chan not ready?" Naruto gave a grunt in reply of the nickname. Nagato spoke "You are ready aren't you Naruto?" Naruto smiled and spoke "I am ready."

Thunder raged on as water dripped from cracks in the windows. "It has begun." Pein said looking at the dark outside world through the window.

Fugaku saw the darkness outside his window, with clan members behind him. He smirked as it started drizzling and thunder crackled.

A member spoke slowly "F-Fugaku-sama, Should we s-strike?" Fugaku gave a cold chuckle.

Fugaku said "It's time."

The people present in the room heard the bang of the slide door and saw the silhouette of Itachi Uchiha, ready in ANBU gear, a katana in hand with his mangekyou sharingan spiraling.

A clan member walked towards Itachi and spoke "You have finally arrived Itachi." He approached the prodigy and was about to touch his shoulder when his hand was sliced off.

The man screamed and fell down. Itachi spoke "Amaretsu."

The man screamed as the black flames engulfed him. Fugaku held back those who were about to approach him.

"This has gone to long Father. Konoha is my home and I am it's Ninja. I will not allow this coup to go no longer further."

This sentence made all the members freeze in their places. Fugaku stared at his eldest son with his sharingan flared looking at the mangekyou in front of him.

A flash flooded the streets of Amekagure, pedestrians screamed as they were engulfed by the water.

Screams were heard by many that night as people rushed through their buildings onto the roof top. A mother screamed for people to find her child but it was to no avail.

People of Ame didn't feel any pain or remorse it was the common thing to happen in Amekagure. An old man in the group exclaimed "Look!" A building with people on it shook and collapsed into the flood ending their lives, screams of agony were heard.

The citizens were in fear, a child cried into the torso of his sister. As if magic the rain froze in mid air. People saw a man flying in the sky with his hand up in the air. A child on top of a small shack cried and as it collapsed a woman with paper wings grabbed the child and set her on a roof top.

The flood began to rise and started to splash onto the building until a child no less than eight stood on the water and flickered through some hand signs and the water started to levitate and fly into the sky.

People gasped. Pein smiled at the sight, this was what Yahiko wanted. This was what they wanted. Peace.

Itachi sliced through all the members in the room. He was then slammed through the wall and thrown out of the compound. His father had rage filled face. Itachi wiped the blood from his mouth and dashed at his father and kicked him in the chin.

He sliced through the remaining members trying to protect his father.

Fugaku charged at his exclaiming.

"Fire Ball No Jutsu."

The enormous ball of fire hit Itachi but the prodigy came unscathed. Itachi slashed his father's chest and kicked him back.

Fugaku looked at his surroundings, everyone was dead. Children laid dead, the lifeless bodies of his friends and family gave him shivers down his spine.

Fugaku spoke "You're crossing your limits Itachi. It's time I teach you a lesson." Fugaku activated his mangekyou sharingan.

Fugaku exclaimed "Amaretsu." The flames went flying towards Itachi. But he was protected by his susano.

Fugaku had shock ridden eyes. Itachi spoke "I am sorry father. But you were a fool to try and take over Konoha."

Itachi slammed his blade onto Fugaku killing his father. Itachi deactivated his mangekyou sharingan and cried. His mother appeared and fell down to her knees.

Itachi fell down to his knees and crawled to his mother. Mikoto whispered "P-Promise me Itachi, you'll protect the t-twins." Itachi spoke "I-I s-swear." Itachi then sliced his mother's head. He then heard a gate open and wiped his tears.

The dark clouds disappeared and then the sun rose majestically. People looked at their three saviors who landed on the roof top in front of them. The old man came up and spoke "W-Who a-are you, sir?"

Pein smirked with Konan and Naruto beside him. He replied "I am your God, Pein." He looked at Konan and spoke "This is my Angel, Konan." He smirked at Naruto and touched his head. He heard a snarl from his son. He spoke up "This is my offspring, Naruto whose.." "A demigod." Naruto replied smirking at his father.

The old man exclaimed "Hail Pein-Sama! Hail Lady Konan! Hail Naruto-sama!"

Cheers were heard of the shouts and people chanted the trio's name as the magnificent sunlight fell on the trio.

Satsuki and Sasuke found the two guards at the front dead, they rushed into the compound opening the creaky gates as the sun rose. They spent their time at Nara compound for a sleep over with Shikamaru.

Tears flowed into their eyes as they saw everybody, their family, friends and their parents dead. They saw their older brother with a katana in hand.

Satsuki's mind clicked but Sasuke went up and questioned "W-Who did this nii-san?" Satsuki spoke but was cut off "Sasuke..."

"You don't know fool. I did it Sasuke. I killed everybody to test my power." Itachi replied grimly. Sasuke rushed at him but was knocked out by Itachi.

Satsuki exclaimed "Why leave us! Why Itachi! Why!" Itachi gave a maniac laugh and spoke "I leave you two as your weak. Kill me with the help of this fool and avenge your family, Dear sister." Satsuki had finally activated her sharingan but was knocked out by the Tsukuyomi.

The sun rays hit Itachi who cried loudly. He collapsed down on the ground and a hand touched him. He looked up to see 'Madara Uchiha'. "Come now, we must leave." Itachi nodded and followed the masked man to infinity and beyond.
